I've been going to Custom Computers since the day they opened... I've been building my own computers since the MS-DOS days, mostly as a hobby so I'm not an expert by any means, but these guys have been wonderful with getting the parts I needed and their expertise when I would run into a problem has been invaluable. They really know what they're doing and I trust them explicitly. They are where I send anyone who is looking for a new system (PLEASE stay away from the big box store computers, there is no comparison!)... you will get a computer custom built to your needs and budget from Custom Computers and they stand by their systems. You won't be let down if (when!) you need service either... they'll fix any problem (even on systems they didn't build) and they won't rip you off. Great, great family owned business! GO!! more

We've been buying our computers and peripherals here for just about as long as they've been in business. This is a family owned and run operation. (Note, I am not related to them or affiliated with the company in any way.) They will help you with your computer issues. They are good problem solvers. You can bring your system in and talk to someone in person and they listen. They are all native English speakers (!) They are patient with folks who are not too computer knowledgeable and will help you determine what you need. If you *are* computer smart, they will get what you want. Computer techs who work for *other* firms come to them with questions; I've seen it with my own eyes. Be sure to check out Custom Computers when you are in the market for anything computer related. Good: I like the family atmosphere of the business...some are related by blood, others are not, but it would be hard to tell which is which. They all work well together and make customers feel they are valued. The services offered go above and beyond what is advertised....I can ask questions which might seem "silly" to some, but they spend their time trying to figure them out for me because they understand it is important to me. The pricing is reasonable so I never have to "shop around".. Other: They are very easy to contact, by phone or by using the help desk on their website, or even email. A response from them is almost immediate. I even receive help on the weekend when the store is closed. I am remembered by name and am treated with respect. They listen to me and don't talk above me or talk down to me, which is important to me. Thank you guys for a job well done. I cannot believe you guys fixed it for $ 75 and the other shop wanted almost $ 250. It's great to see the family business model and honest business still do exist. more

Maybe I'm biased because I know more than the average user about computers, but everytime I go into a local computer shop, I feel like the employees belittle the customers. Custom Computers is no different. The employees emitted a sickening level of arrogance. They don't have much of a selection if you're looking to buy parts. If you're taking a system in for repair, they're also rather expensive. My suggestion? Pass this place and find somewhere that's a bit more friendly. more
