This place originated as a coffee shop that just happened to serve lots of alcohol too. Then, they broke into the next building, and opened a bona fide coffee shop, serving some of KC's best breakfasts. The original bar area is still very much open though, but the espresso machines therein are still quite operational.
"The Cup," as it's locally known, is a great place to gather, at almost any time of the day or night, over a latte or a Boulevard Stout.
