I had a very, very important client coming for dinner. I have to say hands down Cuisine Unlimited did an excellent job. They are prompt in getting me a proposal; I made a few changes and had the revised proposal within 24 hours. Not only did they meet the budget they showed me several ways to get more bang for my buck. The set-up was incredible with ice sculptures and incredible floral arrangements. They are not the least expensive cater but I can guarantee that nothing came out of a wax box or a can. The service staff was very professional. I did question the 18% gratuity fee at first, but research showed that it is an industry standard. If you are looking for the high-end professional catering, I highly recommend Cuisine Unlimited. Here are some things to consider before hiring this caterer. They: Charge $20/hour for every server, and up to $30/hour for other employees. The service didnt warrant this fee. Add on an 18% service charge in addition to the staffs wage. Delayed getting final budget projections, preventing finding another caterer due to time constraints. Did not honor budget, but exceeded it by over $2,000. The final invoice exceeded even that amount by $2,400. At my request, they amended this problem excusing it as an accounting error. Did not include alcohol on budget projection leading me to believe we were in budget. That additional charge increased the total, again, 4 days prior to our event. For our inconvenience , they did provide us with complimentary hors doeuvres. Potential clients should get everything in writing and double check all figures and invoices in detail.
