The manager seems too junior for a facility like this and not professional at all. The gym is not clean. The small baskets on the treadmills seemed pretty dirty. There are only 5 TV channels or so. A waste of money more

Nice looking gym! 3/30/2011

I go here for yoga and I love it! The building is old, and beautiful...you know you're in the city when you come here! Yet it's not cold or impersonal - you feel like you're a part of the neighborhood! more

No Nonsense/A Real Gym 5/8/2010

I opted for Crunch over NYC Health Club and Equinox (Both of which I had been a member) because they give you special attention, they know what they are doing, are friendly without being patronizing, and they get the job done. On top of that, the price is right -- much less expensive than NYC Health Club and Equinox. If you are serious about your health and getting in shape, this is the gym for you. If you want a social club, go elsewhere :-) Pros: Professional Certified Trainers/Spotlessly Clean Cons: A Pool and a steam room would be great more

Not my idea of a good gym 7/22/2005

You get what you pay for, and at cruch you seem to get what they decide you deserve, which isnt much. They are not very professional and their equipment and facilities are not the best. I would recommend stopping by other places in the neighborhood before signing any contracts with crunch. Also, don't fall for their promotional contests... they are a scam. more
