We paid $50.00 for a wash with hand wax. Aram (priced for detail) completed screwed up our request, the car was not waxed and they put baby powder freshener instead of lemon. The car had dirt streaks throughout and stunk like a baby's diaper - how nice. When Carlos, the manager, approached us, he began yelling at us as if we had done something wrong. The owner, DJ Zarukian, interjected and quickly became belligerent, claiming his establishment does not even carry baby powder scent and ""the car looks fine!"" When his employee stated they did in fact have baby powder scent, DJ became even more belligerent with us claiming that we are making up lies. Aram, the person who priced our request, involved himself by stating, ""So what. The job done. So what. I make mistake. So what. What you want me do?"" When we approached the cashier for a refund, another customer began asking questions. It was at this time that Carlos (remember now, he's the manager), raised his voice and said, ""Hey you. You better zip it! You better be quiet. You don't talk to my customers. You shut your mouth! You shut up!"" It was at this time the young lady with whom we were discussing our issue with stated, ""Excuse me Sir but I approached them."" Not realizing DJ was the person who was yelling at us at the car wash, we called the establishment Monday morning to let the owner know how his employees were mistreating customers. Low and behold, DJ was the person who originally called us liars. Apparently, treating your customers poorly while doing a less than mediocre job is common practice at Cruisers Car wash. Regardless how ""cheap & convenient"" this establishment may be, we will take our business elsewhere. Pros: nothing Cons: owner & staff are horrible more

Worst establishment ever! The owner, DJ, needs to be yanked out of the service industry. He certainly does not understand the concept of customer service. First of all, if i want to buy the cheapest car wash, DON'T HARASS ME and try and make me buy the most expensive!\r \r i asked to pay for the $10.99 car wash. the guy said no, you want the $75 one. i said no, i want the the $10.99 one. .\r \r he said no, i'll wash your car for $75! i said no! he said fine! go and pay then! i said fine! i will! ---- (bad start.)\r \r Secondly, if a business has huge posters stating that ""SOMETIMES VEHICLES MAY BE DAMAGED, BUSINESS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE"" do not go there! i read the poster after i paid. i knew i was screwed. (if a business damages your property they need to pay for the repairs! )\r \r when i picked up my car, there was a huge scratch!! not a scuff, but a deep scratch!! i argued that they scratched my car. they insisted that it was me.. you can figure out the rest of the argument.\r \r i even tipped them!!\r \r DO NOT GO HERE!! I have been going to this car wash for years and i have been veery happy with how they treat their customers. The Manager DJ is an amazing man that always speaks to my wife and i with respect and my kids love the play area they have. I can barely take them home because they want to stay and play. I have experienced nothing but honest service and if they ever find something wrong with my car they try their best to fix the problem. Ive seen many customers come and complain about scratches on their vehicles or things stolen but i can only say that they must be mistaken. I had forgotten my phone on the seat of my car and one of the guys had kept it for me until i returned from costco. People dont understand that sometimes their cars are so filthy that they dont notice scratches on their car until they take it to a car wash. Of course when you clean a car and it looks spotless you'll notice even the smallest things. Doesnt mean it wasnt there to begin with. Cruisers car wash is actually a hand wash so how would they scratch your car anyways? .. I highly recommend this car wash...especially if you have kids...they'll love the play area.!! Cruisers Car Wash in Northridge. Terrible customer service. 11/4/2007

I brought my car in for an interior detail and ended up with green splotches on my passenger side from one end to the other and green tint on the rest of my carpet. I brought it back two times and they couldn't get it out. The manager told me it was coffee after he couldn't get it out and then ran away from me. The owner said the same thing and actually ran away from me. I said what about the rest of the green tinted carpet. Very rude, nasty and unprofessional manager and owner. They had an inexperienced person do this. The job was incomplete as I could tell they didn't clean my steering wheel and left some things that they did get out when I took it back. Also they try to sell you a very expensive detail when you come in. A regular car wash would be safe. By the way, it looks like Cruisers has sent Sweet Bubbles in the above review to this site. Pros: okay for simple car wash if shopping at Costco and you don't need to resolve a blunder Cons: Good luck with anything else than a simple car wash. more

I read the first review and thought ""Hey!"" it's alot closer than the place in Santa Monica and it seems to have someones high recommendation... Ok, let's go there. I explained to the attendant what I wanted and how it was only ""Hand Wash"" with no chemical sprays like degreaser and such. It was understood and we started very happy. I even agreed to go and help the guy with the rear louvers when he got to that point as they did not know just how to work them. I went over to help the guy as he was getting close, only to see him holding my keys in his hand and he drags the rag across my trunk lid along with the keys!! I even had my phone in hand to take a clean photo of the car, only to take a photo of him tearing up the lid. I was trying to get his attention, but he wouldn't respond. I later found out he doesn't speak English, so no way I could stop him without grabbing him, which I would not recommend anyone do, it is not respectful. I did get his attention and had him stop until the manager DJ could come over. I told him what happened, and at first he said they would fix it, but that they would buff it and use wax... this paint is Flat Black and cannot have chemicals or wax I explained. He said, ""ok we'll have to get it painted after the first"", I said ok, let's write that down so we all remember. At that point he says, ""no, you can't prove this happened here""! I told him, I have pictures and was prepared to show him, only he walked away and said take me to court! I asked him to call the owner, and he refused! The owner would probably not want his reputation and business ruined because some guy he trusts, decides to try and pull a fast one on a customer, but at this point this guy DJ is willing to ruin your car and just tell you ""you can't prove it was done here!"" even when you have pictures of the guy doing the damage. DON""T GO HERE if your car is fancy or has special paint!! My Boss Mustang was pristine!! Pros: not very busy, close by Cons: they don't care how they treat your car, some employees speak neither English nor Spanish more

Make your car look new again 8/17/2006

We took our 6 and 10 year old cars to Cruisers and they made them look great. I got the top of the line package (takes a long time but its worth it). When I drove to work the following Monday, the parking attendant asked me if I got new tires or new rims. I said, ""Neither, just a good wash."" more
