5 star services from Crown VW despite some twists and turns! Here is the detail: I was in the market for a 2013 VW Golf GTI. Crown VW was doing a promotion and gave me a very good deal. I worked with Josh Sinnard on this transaction. Josh provided top notch services from initial contact to test drive to price negotiation to closing the deal. Here is the twist. When I was ready to drive the new car home, an error message pop-up on the screen - a very rare occurrence for a new car. Josh and Jake (Josh's manager) offered a loaner car to me while their service professionals performed the diagnosis to resolve the error message. Under the guidance from VW engineers (those with wings and rainbows - get it?), they swapped out a few suspected defect parts and performed many test runs. Unfortunately, the error message persisted. This was really not dealer's issue but VW's issue. To save me from waiting further, Josh and Jake obtained approval from VW to exchange to a new GTI, which made me a very happy camper (or should I say happy driver, since I got the Driver's Edition? 'Wink'...'Wink'). Because I was busy at work, they even went to DMV to register my first GTI in order to help me complete the car swap transaction. Josh brought the new GTI all the way from Lawrence to Overland Park to me to swap out the loaner car. Throughout the process, Josh kept me informed on the status and made sure I was comfortable with their approach. It could have been a complete different experience with a different dealership but Josh and Jake made it a great experience! I was respected as a customer throughout and they stood by their promise and commitment! This rare incident revealed how truly customer focus they were and the high standard they set for themselves. I highly recommend Josh, Jake and Crown VW if you are in the market for a VW!
