Simply put this is the best way to work out. You will see the results almost immediately! No boring workouts staring at yourself in the gym mirror. Instead you will do things like - pull ups, jump rope, rope climbs, running, handstand pushups, lunges, etc...I wasted years lifting weights at a large gym and now I am in the best shape of my life. I wish I discovered Crossfit years ago. The coaches are excellent and the people working out there are super friendly and encouraging. Take the plunge. You'll be glad you did!!! more

As a self professed obese couch potato, I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into when I walked through the doors of CrossFit for my first workout. It didn't take long for me to realize that I was seriously out of shape and needed the guidance and knowledge the staff here could provide. In fact, for the first week, Chris literally had to pull me up using a resistance band so I could complete a single sit-up! Well, within a week I was not only doing unassisted sit-ups, I was losing weight, learning and doing things I never dreamed possible, and looking forward to each new workout. It was amazing to see the results I was achieving, and after a month, I was seriously hooked on becoming physically fit. Eighteen months later, I?ve lost almost 90 pounds, and am stronger and healthier than I?ve been in over twenty years. In fact, in October I fulfilled the dream that first brought me to the gym, I completed my first half-marathon! more

This gym is amazing! The workouts are consistently changing to challenge you physically and mentally. Running, rowing, weights, pull ups, sandbags, kettlebells, you'll do it all....things you never thought you could do, you'll do. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and the gym is open to people of all ages and abilities (no feeling like an outsider). They are willing to modify any movement and give you guidance to make you stronger. The other gym members are super friendly and everyone is encouraging. If wasting hours of your life at a giant gym on a machine going nowhere isn't working, go to Crossfit X factor. You'll be stronger and fitter. more

The Real Deal 12/12/2010

If you want to get in the best shape of your life, this is the place. Workouts are usually 20-40 minutes and very intense. All sessions are group classes (personal training available too ) and you'll meet lots of cool people -- all ages -- who are friendly and supportive, regardless of ability. You'll kick your own ass and have a great time doing it. There's no comparison to the boredom of 24 Hour Fitness workouts with their bad music and the endless waits to get on a weight machine. Every workout is different and might involve running, rowing, weights, pullups, pushups, situps, wall ball, kettlebells, rope climbs and every variation on those exercises. Chris and the other trainers are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and there to help. Nice facility, easy to get to, too. more

Focused & Intense Workouts with Great Coaches! 12/12/2010

Who has 2 hours to spend at the gym all the time? Who has $50+ to spend on a single session with a trainer? With Crossfit, you can get in a serious workout (plus warm up, drills, etc.) in an hour. And at Crossfit X-Factor, the small group setting means great energy from the group as well as individual attention from truly knowledgeable coaches- Chris is really remarkable & encouraging. Every workout can be scaled to your level, so you're always working at the outer bounds of your fitness ability, but can still accomplish the workout. more

Most effective time you can spend working out 12/12/2010

I'm the strongest I've ever been and I look forward to working out. How often do you hear someone say they look forward to working out? Takes an hour or less and is very effective. Workouts are very intense but can be scaled to all fitness levels and abilities. The trainers are very knowledgeable and supportive, and the facility is great. more

Working mom's dream come true 12/12/2010

As working a mother, I often don't have time to myself. Squeezing a workout in my schedule is tough. Crossfit X Factor has helped me gain confidence, increase my fitness level and provide an intense, effective workout that only takes one hour. I love the group atmosphere and the results have been amazing. more

We are a general physical preparedness preparedness program that is designed to physically develop people over a lifetime. Don't get me wrong you will see results quickly, but you can never plateau or perfect Crossfit. We work in too many areas of fitness, and every day we do a different workout. Best Workout Ever 12/11/2010

One of the best and worst experiences I've had in the gym. Workouts are extremely fun and hard, it is literally a love hate relationship. I hate doing it but I love the results. The trainers are extremely helpful and are able to work with my needs. more
