This place has been a surefire bet since the day it opened. Always great food, great service and cheap prices in one of the cutest little cafes around! The guys who run the place always greet you with a smile! A great place for breakfast and groups. I live around the corner and am a loyal customer! more

The Best 8/17/2002

If you are looking for great food, warm atmosphere and awsome service go to the Crepe House on Polk and Washington. Another Crepe House just opened on Hayes and Gough too. My favorite Crepe is the Mediterranian but they are all great!!! And save room for the dessert crepe - Banana/Strawberry/Kiwi and Nutella. more

If you are looking for great food, warm atmosphere and awsome service go to the Crepe House on Polk and Washington. Another Crepe House just opened on Hayes and Gough too. My favorite Crepe is the Mediterranian but they are all great!!! And save room for the dessert crepe - Banana/Strawberry/Kiwi and Nutella. more

Outstanding. The Crepe House is a Russian Hill institution, not just best known for its food - but also (and the guys know this well) some of the best looking women in town. Its few and far between you find a place that has equally outstanding crepes, omelettes, salads, and even sandwiches at a reasonable price. Also a tasty coffee bar. Great place to eat outdoors on a nice day or just have a draft beer or glass of wine. They opened another location on Gough in HAYES VALLEY- it seems a bit less crowded but with the same quality and service (as well as menu). Pros: great food overall, atmosphere, friendly Cons: sometimes crowded more

This place is such a great place to go to on weekend mornings. It's sweet and the crepes are outstanding. It feels very neighborhoody and quaint. I've had the dessert crepes and the meal crepes and both are terrific. more

I have been going to this Crepe place for 4 years now and I have not found any better! The people are sweet and courteous - always remember my order even when I haven't been there in a few months! The eggplant is the best - try it! You will not be disappointed! more

The crepes and omlettes are also very good, but the Greek and chicken salads are the best....enough for two and packed with veggies, cheese and warm chicken. It's an artsy crowd and open-air environment, so the best for a sunny day on Polk Street. Pros: huge salads Cons: order in line more
