Creative World School

Although a beautiful facilty, the school is focused on all the wrong things. Everything is overly structured and outward appearances are much more important that the care and creativity of the children. The teachers are stifled, and must follow strict protocol from what the children are allow to color right down to when the cups are allowed to be placed on the table at lunchtime. Not only do they treat their staff like robots, they expect the children to respond to the overly controlled environment like little soldiers. The staff turnover rate is unbelievable, but understandable from this reviewers standpoint. When my daughter was there for a brief time in 2008-9, they had lost ALL THREE Pre-K teachers within a few months, not to mention many of the other staff as well. This was when I began to see this was not the place for us. My daughter then attended a school that was not as new or ""state of the art""..however everybody was so relaxed and happy...and the core staff is still in place now that my son attends. Creative World is just not a very happy place. more

I don't know what the other reviewers have been smoking or drinking, but their review about this school is completely inaccurate. I myself was a teacher there for about a year and a half and I can tell you they have the biggest turnover rate of teachers and staff. Teachers and staff who had been there since the day the school first opened are no longer there only 2 of them are left. Before it was a ""Corporate Owned"" school it was a ""Franchise School"". However, the owner gave ownership of the school back to the corporation because she couldn't stand the director. In other words the director ran the owner out of there. Parents had been pulling their children out left and right because of the turnover and because of the attitude of the director. The director does not know her butt from a hole in the ground, neither does the Education Coordinator. They've also I believe have stolen tuition money that the parents were paying because there were cases where they would tell parents that they owed tuition when the parents had already paid and the parents would go so far as to present them with their bank statements, however that still wasn't good enough proof for them. Also one of the above reviewers commented that their children have been with them since they opened, I looked at the date when the review was posted. This school has been open since September 2007! So if they are telling people that they just opened or if the director is telling people that she herself opened the school, here's a little secret ""SHE'S A LIAR!"" She wasn't even there when the school first opened 4 years ago! more

Our two daughters are currently attending this facility and love it. We started shortly after the facility opened. I interviewed and visited numerous area preschools prior to our selection and was most impressed with this facility. We are extremely happy with our choice and we highly recommend it to other parents. The staff is caring with the children and supportive of each other. The communication with the parents is very open with each teacher as well as the office staff. The teachers our children have had are experienced and have done an excellent job managing their classrooms. …… more
