MUST GET GARLIC KNOTS! -1 star for not having marinara sauce with them. Pizza's pretty good (the pizza's more Italian-style). But get the garlic knots. more

The pizza was never delivered after four hours and two inquiries. First, the restaurant said the food was on the way and would be delivered shortly. The second time, an hour later, the driver said he was five minutes away. The last time they were contacted, they had closed for the night. Late food or messed up orders are one thing. Lying about them is another. more

Good pizza 5/21/2012

There's a lot of pizza places in Boston, but Crazy Dough's is great! It beats the heck out of Stevie's just a few shops down. The only thing Stevie's has over Crazy Dough's, is they're open MUCH later. I with Crazy's was open a bit later, because sometimes you just need a good slice when everything else is closed. I don't know if they still have it now, but you used to get a pitcher of beer with a big slice at lunch for a great deal. Definitely check them out. Not far off Boylston and Mass Ave. more

Crzay Dough disappoints...again 3/25/2010

I had been to Crazy Dough several times for the Eggplant Pizza.\r \r I tolerated the staff watching TV and relished the free soda refills until...now.\r \r My last 2 visits they have been out of the Eggplant slices. These things happen however it is up to the managemant to make sure that the staff can tell this to the guest at the time of the order.\r \r On my most recent visit \r I found out after ordering that the Eggplant was 86'ed.\r \r i ordered a plain slice as the counterman gazed at ESPN.\r \r I got Pepperoni.\r \r After 2 mentions that Pepperoni was not what I ordered the counterman said ""I'm sorry.'"" without acknowledging any error.\r \r No attempt was made to correct the order as there were now other customers waiting to have the change made that could have been made while he was watching TV.\r \r I was so frustrated that I left Crazy Dough having paid for the pizza because I didn't want to make a scene.\r \r With the change in the ownership of Little Stevie's Crazy Dough has an enviable situation.\r \r They have blown it.\r \r Crazy Dough...where TV is more important than you. Pros: Free soda refills Cons: Unavailable products and botched orders more

I had been to Crazy Dough several times for the Eggplant Pizza. I tolerated the staff watching TV and relished the free soda refills until...now. My last 2 visits they have been out of the Eggplant slices. These things happen however it is up to the managemant to make sure that the staff can tell this to the guest at the time of the order. On my most recent visit I found out after ordering that the Eggplant was 86'ed. i ordered a plain slice as the counterman gazed at ESPN. I got Pepperoni. After 2 mentions that Pepperoni was not what I ordered the counterman said "I'm sorry.'" without acknowledging any error. No attempt was made to correct the order as there were now other customers waiting to have the change made that could have been made while he was watching TV. I was so frustrated that I left Crazy Dough having paid for the pizza because I didn't want to make a scene. With the change in the ownership of Little Stevie's Crazy Dough has an enviable situation. They have blown it. Crazy Dough...where TV is more important than you. Pros: Free soda refills Cons: Unavailable products and botched orders more

Not as good as I expected 12/7/2008

After hearing the buzz about Crazy Dough's I decided to order in (can't review the interior of the restaurant). They delivered in less than the promised time. It seems Crazy Dough's specialty is its varied yummy sounding specialty pizzas. However, I ordered a plain cheese with mushrooms because I feel the true test of a pizza is how they do the basics. The pizza was reasonably covered with cheese, with a fresh tomato sauce. The crust was thin, the way I like it, on the crispier rather than soggy side. But, something about the flavor did not ""wow"" me. Since they are not close by, I probably would not order from them again in the future just because I feel there are tastier options for basic pizza closer to me. The specialty pizzas may be out of this world, but I did not order them, so I can't comment on them. The basic pizza was good enough that I might give the specialty pizzas a try in the future, but I don't feel any rush. more

Rueben Pizza! 10/30/2007

We're becoming pizza connesieurs at work and I love this place. I was skeptical of the rueben pizza, so we got a small. I wish we went for the large because it was the best one we got. Even though they forgot the russian dressing. It didn't matter. We ordered 5 pizzas for a specific time and the delivery was right on time. The Tuscan pizza was great too. Pros: Crazy combos more

One of the Worst I've had in Boston. 2/11/2007

Do not get delivery from this place. My friends and I had to wait over an hour for a pizza that was stale and cold like it was made the day before and re-heated, only to come cold once it arrived. They seem to use that same cheap hard semolina crumbs like Domino's on the bottom of the crust so it doesn't stick to the bottom of their oven. After one bite I threw it away. What a rip off. Never again. Pros: None. Cons: Everything. more

Really disappointing 11/8/2006

My roommate hyped this place up a lot, so that may have something to do with it. We got delivery and it wasn't all that great. I didn't order pizza though, so my opinion may matter less.\r \r I got the chicken parm penne, which was very dissapointing. My understanding is that chicken parm is usually a nice chunk o chicken thas is breaded, fried, and then covered in melted cheese. What they gave me was grilled chicken mixed with tomato sauce and penne. It wasn't particularly good (and I don't think any healthier either).\r \r I also tried to order a field greens salad, which they didn't have (annoying).\r \r Also of note is that they took a fairly long time to deliver given their proximity and auto-charged a 15% tip (though that may have been because the order was ~$125). more
