Real, down home atmosphere :) Most of them are in big rustic decored buildings with lots of seating, fireplaces, wood work and stonework.
They also have a country store you enter through and is an ingenious way to keep guests entertained [and spending $-lol] while they wait. You can hardly care if you have to wait 20 minutes, you're too busy checking out the old fashioned toys and foods, hand made rocking chairs, country kitchen items, farm wares, clothing, and gift trinkets!
The food is great. Big portions of from scratch traditional country dishes. I have tried the desert-lol- and there was this carmel peacan pastry/almost pie type thing that was HUGE and topped with icecream.......hmmmmmmmmm. Plenty for your whole table!
