County Line Fence Co

Our yard is a nice size, just shy of a half acre. There was an old wood post fence with 3 rails up that has seen its better days. We call county line fence and one of their reps came out and gave us an estimate for a new wood post gate with 3 rails, cost to remove the old gate and to clean out some over grown bushes in the rear of the yard. This took place at their peak season (spring time), after recieving half , they came out a few weeks later and did a wonderful job. Evening after paying 5 grand for the fence we still tipped the 3 workers 20 bucks a piece. more

BEWARE!!! WORST FENCE COMPNAY IN THE AREA. CLF is a bunch of inexperienced scam artists. They sent out a ?crew? without having any representative from the company check on their work. All the ?workers? kept saying in broken English was that the job was ?lots of work, too much work?. We returned home the day of the installation to find the old fence (that per our contract was supposed to be removed), an old section of fence still standing, they tore up my neighbor?s driveway, and DESTROYED our retaining wall. After calling the owner (who screamed at me like I DID SOMETHING WRONG) he informed us that he turned us over to his lawyer (who I am not even sure is legit and who told me he is the owners best friend). His lawyer sent me something in writing promising that if we remitted the final payment it would all be taken care of. We did our part and here are we 2 months later; their solution was ?$50 of patch from home depot?. They NEVER fixed my neighbors driveway. This occurred from the ?crew? using their truck to rip out our fence and posts from the wall!?! Who does this? This is unacceptable and a disgrace! They should be ashamed of themselves for how unprofessional they are. DO NOT USE THEM! Oh, after contacting me about remitting the final payment; their lawyer went on to tell me that his friend DAN the owner, has such a ?big heart?. He told me that even after DAN sues people he will turn the money over to charity?! Oh, my what a joke! more

My neighbor and I bought the recycled plastic chairs a couple of years ago Not even a year later, they faded into some absolutely HIDEOUS colors. The hardware which wasn't supposed to rust did and some came loose. We learned they are made by a company in New Holland PA called Casual Living. These chairs looked very nice when they were new and were VERY expensive and are supposed to last forever, but turns out they are absolute garbage and biggest waste of money ever. I don't know how they continue to get away selling them. more

Multiple problems with this company. We live behind a school and have an in ground pool. We were assured that when County Line was taking down the old fence and putting up the new one it would NEVER be left open at any time. We had three gates installed, the one on the school side was installed backwards so the lock was on the outside. We would have to walk around the block to unlock it! When they came out to fix this I came home and they had left the gate open while they went back to Warrington to get parts. Kids were out at recess with a gate open to an inground pool! They then had to put a new post in because they ruined the first one changing the lock. About a month ago I noticed one of the the gates was leaning to one side. That was because there was only one screw in the hinge! It took one man and 4 trips to my house to put 2 screws in. They then chipped the paint off the black hinge. They told me they could fix it with touch up paint. When I walked into the house I heard someone shaking a can of spray paint. I went back out and stopped them from attempting to spray one small hing on a fence. They said they didn't have any touch up Pros: none Cons: aggravation more

I had a PVC fence installed in 2006 by this company that was so poor that it started to fall down within the first week. The posts were not put in concrete, the rails were cut short and on and on. After one year of working through the Bucks County Consumer protective organization without any response, I threatened to go to small claims court. The owner and his son showed up at my home within a week. It appeared that they fixed the problems to my satisfaction. more

Received a fence that was made improperly with green lumber and after it was installed bowed and buckled. County Line Fence would not talk to us nor return our telephone calls to remedy the bowed /buckled fence. We would NEVER use nor recommend this company and this is the very first time I have ever written anything bad about a company and their service. more
