Fantastic facility! The teachers are always informative, and the admin staff are always friendly and ready to help in any way you need. Everyone is very hands on. The facility is clean, and has so many activities for kids to be a part of. It is a second family type environment. I would recommend this establishment to anyone and everyone with children. I am so proud to have my child attend this daycare. Well worth the money you pay! more

Kuddos to Country Home!! My family and I absolutely love this center! My step brother and step sister attended country home when we were kids and I was always so jealous when hearing their stories of all the great times they had at their center. Then when my sister had her kiddos and needed childcare, she decided to enroll them at Country Home as well. We were very impressed at the curriculum they provided even for a toddler, so naturally when it was my turn to be looking for a place for my girl, it felt like a no-brainer. My eldest daughter, who is now 9, has been attending Country Home since she was 3. The teachers and staff have been amazing to us over the years, so much so, that when her teacher realized that she was flying threw her curriculum and passing up her developmental milestones, they made arrangements to have more advanced curriculum available to her. They have helped her so much to blossom and be so confident in herself by always showing her love and encouraging her to do her best. Needless to say, when we had our 2nd daughter, I couldnt wait for her to start as well. She is now 4 and preparing to start the Excel program in the fall, which I know will well prepare her for public school. Im so blessed to have found a place for my girls that has definetely become a home away from home. Thank God for the wonderful people of Country Home! We love you!! more

My grandchild is attending Country Home Learning Center at this time. She started in November and has grown and is learning so many things. She started in Infant B and is now in Toddler B. She loves going to school and playing and learning. All of her teachers have been fabulous and she goes to them in the mornings with out crying. That lets me know that she feels safe and is happy. We always feel welcome in the classroom. They greet us every morning and gives her hugs when she leaves at the end of the day. We love Country Home. more

I was currently shopping around for child care when I called Country Home on NW Military and was recieved with open arms!! I talked to a few people asking questions about the center and was invited to take a tour of the facility! When I came in I was greeted and felt very welcome. The room they showed me for my son was clean and undercontrol by the teachers in the class. (I know 1 two year old is a handfull but that many in a classroom are 2 handfulls!!) To see this was amazing! I know my kiddo will get the love and compassion he will need to grow into a good young man! Thank you to Country Home and I look forward to many years with them!! more

I attended Country Home as a boy, and I have watched not only my brothers and sisters grow up there, but now my nieces and nephews. The feeling you get a Country Home is such a unique experience. You can't help but feeling like you are walking into your own home. I would recommend this day care to ANYONE looking for a safe and quality place for your children! more

We are in such gratitude for Country Home Learning Center, NW Military location! We were having problems at another child center my son was attending. He was coming home, frazzled, scattered, violent, fussy, and sometimes hurt! His needs were not being met there. Although everything looked and seemed fine at the center, the minute we switched over to Country Home Learning Center, his behavior and demeanor changed! Immediately he started to come home HAPPY!!! He is also much more cooperative & helpful, his vocabulary is growing by leaps and bounds, and he is constantly telling us about all the new things he learns at “school”. He is getting wonderful mental and physical stimulation, so much so that he is calm and relaxed by the time he comes home. I also want to mention how great the staff is, polite, courteous, engaged, happy, and fun! The director, Mrs. Brandi goes above and beyond! She obviously genuinely cares for the well-being and best interest of every child. No question or concern goes unanswered. She was one of the main reasons we picked Country Home Learning Center, and I am thrilled to have her and her staff guiding, teaching, and looking out for my son! How does it get any better than that?? <3<3<3 more

In less than 1 year my child attended 5/31/2012

In less than 1 year my child attended this facility he was bitten, scratch in the face leaving a mark and hit in the head leaving a black eye and a leg scratch. Until I got home I notice the bruses and marks on his eye and leg. Only the first incident i received a phone call at work but when the second injury happen I talked to the director hoping there wouldn't be a third one. Unfortunally the last and worse time nobody took the time to call me. They ""didn't"" see the black eye and that's why they didn't call me. I now understand why they don't release the other child's information when filling out their ""incident reports - simply because they are in fear you may compare notes with other parents. SAVE your child and pick another facility!!! more

Watch out for mistreatment of your child 9/17/2010

This facility was our first experience with daycare and for about a week things seemed to be going well enough. My child's ""teacher"" (Miss Tiffany in 2F, usually mornings) seemed very authoritarian, complaining to me about how she is the adult and they are the children and she doesn't answer to them, but they answer to her, etc. She told me about her own child and how she parents, which is a very rigid style of authoritarianism (setting expectations, no gentle talk etc.). I didn't think her parenting methods would spill into her work, but last week when my husband and I went to pick up our child, Miss Tiffany treated her very aggressively and abusively. Our child is shy and covers her face with her hands (she is 2) when feeling vulnerable. Miss Tiffany was changing her (and I suspect she hadn't changed her for quite some time seeing as how she jumped on her soon as we showed up to change her ""before you go home"") and when our child covered her face, Miss Tiffany told us that she normally does THIS and she proceeded to take our child's hands and yank them down forcefully to the child's sides. Our child reacted by giving Miss Tiffany a look of anger and confusion, CLEARLY upset by Tiffany's little assault on her person. Then Miss Tiffany told us that our child ""always"" gives her that face and proceeded to swish her palm over our child's face demanding her to, ""wash that look off your face!"" We stood there absolutely shocked. I think I was in a daze for a couple of minutes and we left. I mentioned this to the woman at the desk at the time and she said that well, they just wanted to help our child be more social. I informed her that I was a shy child and no amount of cajoling or mistreatment was going to change who a person is. She said she'd ""keep an eye on"" Miss Tiffany. We had just paid for a whole week of care which the woman in charge (and Damien, one of the workers) told us they would not refund. Seeing as how we are leaving the daycare SOLELY because of Miss Tiffany's abusive actions toward our child (and who knows how many other children), I feel we should get a refund. I feel bad for the nice teachers at this facility and having to work with Miss Tiffany. The woman in charge tried to remedy this situation by offering to move our child to the other 2 yr old classroom. Seriously? They are very much more concerned with the money than with the safety and well being of the children. Miss Tiffany needs to be investigated and evaluated as a child care worker. We spoke with quite a few people who all expressed shock and horror at Miss Tiffany's behavior. It seems she wants to force 2 year olds to be little robots instead of children. She also complained that our child ""never wanted to do what she was told"" (she's 2. And when did you meet anyone of any cage who wanted to do what they're told to do? And in Miss Tiffany's case, FORCED.) Parents should be aware of this woman and her abusive treatment of children, as well as those in charge here who obviously will be happy to take your money and not take your child's safety seriously. They should have reported Miss Tiffany but I'm sure they didn't. more

Premium price does NOT equal premium care! 5/14/2008

Be prepared to be a brown-noser if you want your child treated right. Take his/her teacher donuts and little gifts, smooze the office staff. NEVER suggest anything to change or improve. The fact that you are paying premium price, the highest in town as far as I can see, for childcare does NOT ensure your child will receive premium care. The facilities are exceptional but the interaction between teacher and child leaves much to be desired. \r \r When my 4 year old was not learning anything in his Pre-K classroom, and had even regressed to scribbling when coloring instead of staying in the lines or drawing his own pictures, and writing his own name, which he had been doing prior to attending there, I asked that the teacher spend a little time with the kids to teach them how to write their own names on their papers. I also asked that the children not be given candy at 5:00 in the afternoon, spoiling their dinner! That is when everything changed for him. It was right after that that the teacher suddenly found that he was misbehaving. This was after several months of attendance. I?m not trying to say he?s a saint, but he is well behaved and polite compared to most little boys his age. Everyday there was some new offence and they even left him out of activities; allowing him to cry on the sideline. When questioned about these things, I and my daughter were told different stories of the events by the director. Which story was true and which was the lie? \r He will not be going back. We just hope there is an opening at another other day care - one where the people working there are there because they love children and want to teach and care for them physically, mentally and emotionally. \r Pros: facilities are great Cons: staff will not spend teaching time with the children more
