If you guzzle lots of gas a membership for that reason alone just might justify the cost of membership. They seem to have just about the best price in town (though I'll not BJs tends to be a few cents cheaper). Of course the place is a madhouse during peak times (and people love to come midday to "have lunch" -- whether that means eating your way through all the samples or actually buying a lunch from their cafeteria, which has quite tasty pizza and prices that are hard to beat). You can get some really good deals here depending on what you're buying. Random good deals on electronics or home goods. Occasional good deals on food items (though generally you'll do just as well if not better on sale items at the regular market). There's usually a good buy on some basic clothing items (example, recent purchase of Calvin Klein khakis for $18 for men). Excellent deal on certain pharmacy items. The lines are a pain, though, and they love their rules.
