My advice...if you KNOW you hair is curly and the stylist tells you ""she doesn't detect any curls,"" insist that it is. I ended up with a mess of a layered haircut that sticks out everywhere. It curls up in humidity. If I flat iron it, it's too thin because of all the layers that were supposed to ""create movement."" This will take a year of growth to correct. more

Pros: The place has a very friendly feel to it. I walked in and everyone smiled at me. Its a very cute salon that was pretty busy when I got there. I had my hair done by Maya and she was so sweet! My hair looked great and she did a great cut. After my appointment, the woman who owned the salon helped me. She had just walked in and saw that the receptionist was away. I loved the team work there! She spoke highly of Maya and said that all of the stylist could help me whenever I want to come by. There were all so sweet!\r \r Cons: The receptionist was there when I arrived but disappeared. She looked like she had a long night or had been crying. \r \r I will go back because of my hair service and because they were so friendly. I havent tried any other service but I have requested to my husband that I want a massage next. Cool place! more

I love this hair salon! I run by here everyday and finally decided to give it a try. I am so happy I did. Melvie is my stylist. She gives a great haircut and I love my color. The place is very laid back but sometimes very busy. I do get massages by Jen there too! Cool little place for anyone looking for the laid back hair salon. more

I love this place. Kind of busy on the weekends and its hard to get on someones book sometimes. It has a small beauty shop feel and everyone is nice there. Ive had a haircut from three different stylist and I have like them all. I live in Cypress but stop on my way home. As soon as I walked in, I get a smile. Love it! more

A wonderful place for my family 5/16/2012

I love this place. It isnt a high end, stuck up salon. This place is for everyone. I'm a fulltime business owner and also a single mother. I get my hair colored and cut by Melvie and I also take my kid there when she needs her haircut. Melvie is a true stylist and a very careing person. I am lucky sometimes to get in on the same day but this is rare. You have to call a week ahead. more

Melvie is a pro! 9/23/2011

I loved my coworkers hair so I decided to try her stylist. I got lucky and called. I was able to get my appointment the following day. I went in and melvie gave me a quick consultation. I enjoyed my conversation with her and her color and cut looked great! I looked great! :) I've been receiving compliments since. My husband never notices my hair and he even complimented me. The salon is small but very comfy. Clean and my time was nice. thank you Cosa Bella. more

Cool place with a couple of kinks 7/18/2011

I was given a gift certificate for a spa package for my birthday. I had called to schedule my manni and pedi and was able to schedule my haircut. This went well but I had to call a different person to get my facial service. This was just horrible because I tried calling 2 times with no answer. When I did reach her I had to go on a different day and she was late. The service was ok at best. I have had better facials at other places in the Heights. I worked at a salon before and know what a good facial is. She must have just finished beauty school. I did enjoy my nail services and the woman who cut my hair were very nice. I would go back but never for facials. more

Great Services!!! 6/23/2011

Myra is awesome! She takes her time to make sure everything is right and perfect. I have had so many compliments on my eye brows because of my services. She's personal and scheduling is so easy because she's so flexible!!! I feel like I'm going to my friend's house rather than going to a salon because the environment there is so relax, warming, and cheerful. Workers like each other and there's no gossip among each other while they're giving you service. I totally would recommend all my friends here because of Myra. Well I would recommend strangers too because all my friends know about Myra. more

Great Place even Better Staff 6/17/2011

I love Cosa Bella! They have an awesome location, excellent service and professional staff! I get my nails, eyebrows, haircuts and color there! I especially love the mimosas on Saturdays :) Arthur is a great stylist and always knows exactly what is the best style for you. Getting a manicure and pedicure is the best at Cosa Bella and super sanitary! And I truly feel like when I make an appointment with Myra, for my eyebrows, I am making an appointment to see a good friend. And that is what I love the most about Cosa Bella, the friendly atmosphere! more

When I moved to Houston I tried several other salons and received really bad haircuts. I am greatful to Arthur, he got it right! Massages are also great. I feel like I am visiting friends when I go to Cosa Bella! more

Cool little hair salon and shopping! 3/31/2011

I added that fifth star because of the boutique next door. I love shopping. I live in the Heights and have driven by so many times. I stopped and had my hair cut the first time and it was okay. But then I had an emergency because someone at SC ruined my color. I asked for a color specialist and got Melvie. She was so awesome and fixed my hair. I cant tell you how happy I was to find her. They look like a cool group of girls there. more

A fun HAIR salon 3/30/2011

I've been a customer for 5 months now and I really like this salon. I had my hair done by two stylist and I was very happy with both. This is NOT your type of spa that is uptight or snooty. Cosa Bella seems to be more of a hair salon more than that type. They do have massage and facials there but I've only tried hair and pedicures there. Melvy is my stylist and she gave me a nice color and haircut. It's kind of hard to get on her book if you go with her. Andria cut my hair on my last visit and it was great! I live in the Montrose area and it was only a 10 minutes from my home. I'm excited about this place. more

Cosa Bella Salon and Day Spa is absolutely fabulous! I adore the ambiance and atmosophere of the whole place. Very soothing yet refreshing and super friendly. My family and I have been going there for some time now. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SEEING ARTHUR for your next visit. During the past few years Arthur has done a superb job of listening tentatively to my needs and wants. I have changed my hair style and color quite a bit. Every time he has giving me knowledgeable feedback and suggestions. He made sure he knew exactly what I wanted and delivers every time. Hair pros and great service 1/22/2011

I live in the Heights and know that there are salons on every other street. Believe me, I've tried them all. I called Cosa Bella and was able to get my hair colored by Arthur. It was awesome and he was so nice. He showed me how to style it and gave me the product for it too. Let me give you my scoop. This place has been around for awhile and I can see why. They are so nice there and care about their work. I listened to the other stylist talk with their customers and they were also very helpful. I met Melvie, she was the sweetest person and welcomed me when I told her it was first time. I loved the laughter and smiles! Go see Arthur, he will take care of you! more

Great little secret! 1/13/2011

I love how this place is so nice and so close to my home. I have tried others but Melvie has helped me get the look I want. Sometimes it can get a little busy but its okay. I tend to talk to everyone anyway :) Go and get your nails by Maya too! Everyone there at Casa Bella is nice. more

Nice salon for my family 1/13/2011

I have been a client of Cosa Bella for 5 years now and am happy with the services I've recieved there. I get my hair colored by Melvie and my nails by Maya now. It isnt a salon for the snobbish for sure. This place is perfect for anyone that is looking for a great cut and good people. Melvie is a great stylist and gave my child her first childs cut. She can do it all! Miya is the sweetest person. Love this place! more

I love this salon! They actually work on Sunday and will work extra hard to please their customers! I never leave the salon that someone doesn't comment on how great my hair cut is. Also, people stop to ask me where I get it cut. more
