Not great 12/21/2010

I took my machine in to get cleaned and came back working worse. Took it back in and they said nothing was wrong. I took it home frustrated that it came back in worse condition that it was before. I think they might just not be knowledgeable about my older machine (if they aren't they should have told me). When I was home, I pushed every button multiple times, unplugged and screwed apart and put back a bunch of the pieces and it it started to work like it used to. I don't know what they did, or what I did--but when I spend $70 to get my machine serviced, I'd like it if it came back in the same, if not better condition than when it left my hands. more

Shop anywhere else! 10/28/2010

My machine was inconsistent and incredibly difficult to use, I worked for hours and had to give up on my project. At first it was working just fine, however given less then ten minutes it would tangle or the thread would back up. So obviously I attempted to return it, however because it works from the get go it was non-exchangeable, and there is a NO refund policy. This I would have known if I had read the invoice... that you don't get until you purchase the machine!! Do not shop here! more

Friendly people ready to help you. They also do repairs on machines. Good selection of merchandise. Probably not the best place to go to get a bargain, but then again, it is a local business not a chain. more

Good customer service 12/2/2008

We purchased our vacuum from Corvallis Sewing & Vacuum center years ago. Our Meile vacuum has lasted for over 10 years. They provided excellent repair on the vacuum head where I had worn the wheels off! They always carry the bags and are in a convenient location. more
