Great neighborhood bar with a ""CHEERS"" atmosphere! I especially like the wide open doors in the good weather. Great food. Friendly and efficient service!!

Atmosphere is Perfect for Groups 2/1/2010

If there's one thing I hate, it's having to walk downstairs to go to the bathroom... but that's my only complaint about this place. The wide open layout of the bar is perfect for groups. My friends and I sat at the long table near the front and it was perfect for our size group (about 8 people).. They have food but we didn't try it. The staff is attentive too, I'm gonna go back when it's warmer. Pros: Seating, Atmosphere Cons: Downstairs Bathrooms more

NY's ""CHEERS"" 10/22/2008

Great neighborhood bar with a ""CHEERS"" atmosphere! I especially like the wide open doors in the good weather. Great food. Friendly and efficient service!! more

Friendly Service, Accommodating Staff, Casual Atmosphere 8/13/2008

What a great ""local"" place. The atmosphere is lively, the prices are reasonable. the staff is friendly and accommodating. and the prices are reasonable. We are big Boston sports fans and this is one of the few places where we can watch the games and not be treated as outcasts! Must visit bar for anyone who is just looking for a cool, casual place to hang out. more

Great Atmosphere 4/3/2008

I was at Coppersmith's last weekend with a large group of friends, the bartenders and waitresses were very accommodating, even the bus boys were enjoying themselves. We hung out, watched the action on the plasma, and enjoyed several dozen Irish car bombs, all in all it was a great night, with good friends, the perfect place to celebrate any occasion. more

Best staff in the city!! 3/14/2008

awesome wait staff so nice and friendly and pretty easy on the eyes!! great place to grab a drink or three afterwork and catch a few games, definitely my favorite neighborhood bar and you can't beat the chicken sandwich. highly recommend for all of your needs. Pros: ambience, cute boys more

Relaxed Setting 1/31/2008

Casual and Relaxed Setting. Super friendly waiters and a great bartender. Good mix of music. As an ""out of towner,"" doing a little bar hopping, I felt like I was treated as one of the regulars! more

Good Sports Bar 1/28/2008

I've been here on a few occasions for happy hour after work. It can get crowded, however the service is good. If you hang around for a while a table will usually open up. Have eaten a few of the standard appetizers and all were delicious as well. Good selection of draft beer and beers are reasonably priced. Pros: Good apps, Alot of TVs, good service Cons: small, crowed after work if you have a large group more

Great sports bar 10/12/2007

I went to this bar last Sunday for the first tome to watch some football games. I was very impressed. The atmosphere was great; everyone was really into the games. I thought the food and service were top notch. There was also a wide selection of games playing on the various tv's thoughout the bar. This is a great place to kick back and watch some games. more

Great Bar 10/10/2007

Great place to watch a sporting event. Service was excellent and bar food was delicious. Lots of people just going to have a good time. more

Perfect Neighborhood Hangout 9/12/2007

I've been going to Coppersmith's for years and was hoping to keep it my little secret, but over time it's become clear that the secret is out, so I figure it's time I finally put my two cents in. If you're looking for a place just to hang out with friends, have a beer and a burger, and catch a game or two, Coppersmith's is the place for you. The food is quite good - especially the wings - and the service is top-notch. The staff is friendly but not obsequious - they're as likely to engage in some good-natured banter as any of the customers. But despite this familiarity, the service is still quick and professional. Coppersmith's isn't a ""club"", it's not a ""lounge"", it's not trendy or hip - it's just a bar, and a good one at that, my bread-and-butter hangout. There's no better place to go for a drink or three to unwind after a long day. Pros: Great ambience and mix of clientele, excellent service Cons: Can get crowded at its busiest more

awesome hangout! 9/12/2007

Ive been here several times with my twenty-somthing friends, and it has always been an awesome place to drink beers and hang out! the wings are awesome, and the people who work there are too. more

Best Happy Hour!!! 9/12/2007

Hands down Coppersmiths is the best place to go after work. The staff is quick with a drink and the wings are out of this world. Our happy hours tend to run into the wee hours of the morning bc this place is so damn fun. Oh I almost forgot to give a shout out to the excelerator hand dryers...they are life changing. Pros: Wings, Beer & Hand Dryers Cons: No Buck Hunter more

best on the westside 9/4/2007

i've gone with big groups (10+ ppl) the last few times i was there and had a great time. the chow was great and the drinks were even better. we all loved our waitress, she was a sweetheart. cant wait for football and the mlb playoffs to start! go birds! Pros: service, food... Cons: can get crowded more

mediocre- rude management 7/26/2007

There really is nothing about this place that distinguishes it from any other Irish pub in midtown. The food is pretty bland and there are no exotic beers on tap. They do have some decent deals during the week if you happen to stumble in on the right night. The blonde old irish lady behind the bar however, was extremely curt and rude with some fellow patrons. I saw her rolling her eyes at everyone. I later found out she is the manager. No way to manage a bar.... Pros: Eh Cons: Nasty blondes more

Really like this neighborhood Joint! 2/8/2007

Went here with a group of friends to watch a football game. Nice beer selection, good apppetizers to munch on and the service was excellent. That's all I'm looking for in a neighborhood joint. We'll be back! Pros: Beer, appetizers, service more

Average 9/9/2006

Certainly one of the more mediocre Sunday night football experiences, although the staff were nice. They need bigger tv's more

A Can't Miss 1/18/2006

With a great staff and friendly inviting atmosphere, Coopersmith's is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a ""real"" New York bar. As soon as you walk through the doors you get the feeling you belong in the tradition of the classic Irish Pub. No big egos, no hassles, just a great time. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home. Whether it's stopping by on the way home from work or spending in afternoon watching the games, you'll never be sorry you ended up at Coppersmiths. It also great for having a private party either in the main bar or in the separate party room. Pros: staff, setting, drink selection more

Always a great time 1/4/2006

Whether its w/ my girlfriend, a few buddies or my whole crew Coppersmiths is always a great time. Compared to the rest of the West side spots Coppersmiths stands alone as a Clean and friendy pub w/ great bar food and super friendly staff. Unlike the dark dirty attitude ridden taverns of Hells Kitchen, Coppersmiths is by far one of my favorite places to Grab a fresh pint, watch the game or chow down. more

JRD 1/3/2006

Great bar to watch a game. Thursday nights seem to pack it in, and bring a fun, good looking, down-to-earth crowd. Friendly service, and attentive bartenders make this one a good choice all around. more

AWESOME All Around 12/19/2005

Had a college Alumni party there last weekend... The bar staff was awesome... Really worked hard to make sure everybody had plenty of food and drinks... On a business level they made everything very easy and advantageous for both sides... It's a really good looking place which puts you in just the right mood for some great drinks, great food, & great times with your friends... Pros: look, feel, taste more
