Coolidge Looking Good

I decided to try this dry cleaner's after finding they had better hours than my more local cleaner's. I brought in 5 garments (3 to be dry-cleaned, one to have a button sewn back on, one to remove stains.) \r \r When I got home and unwrapped my clothes, the button immediately fell off my coat. My pants still had a stain (smaller, but a very visible stain), and who knows if the other 3 items were even dry-cleaned based on the state of the previous two garments. You can't tell.\r \r All of this for $25 -- they were far more expensive than my local cleaners, whom I will now surely find a way to visit based on Coolidge's (non-existent?) service. I don't recommend them at all -- seems they just put my clothes back on hangers and wrapped them in plastic without doing any work on the garments whatsoever.\r Pros: Good Location Cons: Didn't dry-clean or mend my garments at all, expensive more

Great customer service - everyone is very friendly. They offer same day service if I drop my clothes off by 10am. I find the service to be second to none. They do an excellent job of spotting. Great communication\r \r more

When I moved to Central Square I assumed I'd be a frequent customer of CLG. However, they ruined the first thing I brought them and refused to take any responsibility for the damage (a massive bleach spot on the front of a sweater), telling me ""they'd go out of business"" if they compensated every customer whose clothes they damaged. That says it all, I think. Pros: they're in a great neighborhood Cons: they seem nonplussed about ruining their customers' clothing more

These guys are the only dry cleaner around Central Square, which is probably the only reason they're still in business. I lose buttons at least once a month, and sometimes have to come back with the same shirt more than once to get them to replace the buttons. A couple of times, they've swapped my clothes with someone else's, or haven't gotten them back on time. Pros: only option in area Cons: expensive, spotty, missing buttons more
