Computer Tune & Lube

My car had a loud squeeking noise coming from the front end when i hit any kind of bump. I had never been to computer tune and lube before but i explained to the mechanic what was happening, he took it for a ride and then put it up on a lift in the shop, the manager then brought me out and showed me that both my lower ball joints were loose and that was causing the noise. They did the work and were right because the noise is no longer there. I was pleased with it being fixed and felt the bill was fair. more

I went to computer tune & lube to get my O2 señora replaced on my truck 2 weeks ago. I left there and noticed the engine light was still on when I had just got home. My neighbor had noticed that some wires were unplugged underneath my truck. He connected what turned out to be the O2 sensors and the engine light went out. They had also replaced the water pump and told me there was an issue with the oil pan which had to be replaced. He stopped working on the oil pan, flushed the radiator, and mixed in liquid gasket sealer. He then told me the head gasket needed to be replaced and it would cost me $1,800.00! I took my truck to another mechanic and he checked it out for a few days and said 2 hoses needed to be repaced, and NOT the head gasket! these guys are very shady and would manipulate, lie, cheat and steal to make money. And the Manager appears to be a wicked drunk! more

My "Check Engine" light was on & I had Computer Tune & Lube check it out. It turned out to be the 2ndry air filter / emissions effected. This was fixed to GMC specs. Light came on again. Computer Tune & Lube found a valve that is not listed (showed me the specs)-fixed that. Transmission went - they fixed that.(Runs great so far - used / 90 day warranty) Light came on again - needed a new gas cap ($50 charge) Light is on again and I will take it back, as according to Advanced Auto's computer -it is again the 2ndry air filter. I will let you know the results. Most of the repairs were when "Josh" was manager - Middletown. New manager now, so will see how things go. Josh bent over backwards to get my car right & has credited me with a free oil change! So far I'm satisfied. more

I8 BROUGHT MY CAR IN FOR A BRAKE NOISE. I WAS SURE I HAD TO REPLACE THE FRONT AND REAR BRAKES. THE GENTLEMAN AT THE DESK PUT MY CAR UP IN THE AIR AND PULLED THE WHEELS. HE THEN BROUGHT ME OUT IN THE SHOP AND SHOWED ME A REAR BRAKE SPRING BROKE. WHAT I THOUGHT WAS GOING TO BE A VERY EXPENSIVE REPAIR COST ME 40.00. THANK YOU COMPUTER TUNE AND LUBE. YOU PEOPLE ARE THE BEST more

Comp Tune seems to make a living out of ripping people off, They reccommend unnecssary repairs and over charge. This is a shop to run to hills from! There are so many other great local gas stations and oil change places. This place is full of incomptent monkeys. i would never, ever go back. The guy tha was running it was talking on his cell phone more than running the place. Seemed very confused and more interested in his cell than work! I also think he had a hangover from the sounds and looks of things!!! uughh more

I brought my car to computer tune and lube for an oil change, they did the oil change and then let me know that i needed brakes they took me out to shop to show me the problem. I left my car with them for a few hours and then picked it up. I have had no problems with my car since and will continue to do business with computer tune and lube more

I gave this place one star because I didnt think I'd be able to submit this without rating it, but the truth is they dont even deserve 1/2 star....I dont think I've ever dealt with a more unprofessional business and been screwed over more than when I brought my car there. I brought my car in for a serpentine belt and $3000 later my car was running worse than it was before I brought it there more

This place has inept workers--I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation two weeks ago, came in and the older guy told me to wait a second and they'd be right with me. 45 minutes later I was walking out in disgust and they said wait wait they'd get it, but the store was closing soon so they could only do the oil change. 30 minutes later one of the cashiers had to remind a mechanic that my car was waiting. All told, it took me 1 3/4 hours when I had an appointment and I didn't even get my tires rotated. They were not apologetic at all and it seems like this is par for the course here. They simply cannot run a shop--there was someone in there from another Computer Tune and Lube shop filling in too--just a mess. Everyone makes mistakes, but after the first mistake of forgetting about me they should have been doing backflips to rectify it. Stay away from here until they learn how to do their jobs. Another guy was in there waiting an hour and a half for his oil change too. more

don't go there they will rob you blind they make repairs that are not necessary and overcharge for parts like 2.5 times more

This is one of the most acceabile car repair place in middletonw. The shop is located in Washington plaza at Middletown. The only thing to take care is make sure that you have a prior appointment. It is very difficult to get the car repaired with out a prior appointment, it may take a long to do so. You can also get a bus rom Washington plazza to your work place, this makes it easy to leave the car. more
