Exceeded my expectations! 2/22/2015

I decided to move to Florida because I could not bear the cold PA winters any longer. Being 65 I moved without a solid job opportunity in FL, but I love Disney and wanted to be where it was warm and near Disney World. I selected Colonial Van Lines because of the high customer rating they have. I decided to go with them and I am so happy I picked them. My move was perfect! In each step of the way, they gave me excellent customer service. Everything arrived on time, the moving crew was better than I expected and everything occurred on time according to schedule and there was no damage to any of my items. I experienced some problems with my house purchase closing, but Colonial customer service worked with me getting around the time delays. I highly recommend them to anyone planning a move. more

1-2-3-Move 2/18/2015

Our recent move was very organized and stayed on task thanks to Colonial Van Lines. Their staffs, including your own personal concierge/contact person, help to keep everything in order and keep you on task for what needs to be done with each step of the move. I knew up front what my costs would be, how to update what would be included in the move, when movers would be there, and when my belongings would be delivered. The team that came to my home and packed my belongings were courteous, efficient, and careful packing my items. Excellent Experience 2/11/2015

In late January 2015 my fiancée and I moved from Knoxville TN to Bridgeport CT. We were very impressed with Colonial's customer service and attention to us as clients. Our moving team was polite, professional, efficient, and took excellent care of our belongings. The movers showed up when they stated they would and packed our home in a timely manner. They delivered our household goods at our convience and placed all the boxes and furniture where we asked. They explained the paperwork to us so all we had to do was relax and enjoy our new home. more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! 1/17/2015

This was by far my worst experience ever with a moving company. They tried to extort more money, broke TV's, Horrible Customer Service (or lack there of) from LaBusha. All around I would AVOID AT ALL COSTS THIS COMPANY OR ANY OF ITS subsidiaries. more

Mover from VA to FL 1/10/2015

Job # 55147779-CO-R1 We recently moved from Fredericksburg, VA to Dade City, Fl. Overall our experience with Colonial Van Lines was very good. All representatives from Colonial communicated with on a regular basis throughout our entire move. We got quotes from several companies and Colonial offered the best price. The subcontractor (Ocean Moving & Storage) they used to pack, load, store, and deliver our household goods was excellent. Except for the fact the truck they sent was not large enough to accommodate our goods, the crew from Ocean was great. They were congenial and professional. It took longer to pack and load than we expected but the crew took great care with all our items and we had only minor damage to a couple of items upon delivery. Colonial worked very diligently with us to accommodate the delivery date we requested. Overall our experience with Colonial was very good, stress free and we would use them again. more

Great Move 1/8/2015

The whole move was a great experience. The furniture was protected and they set all the furniture up where we wanted them placed. Nice and friendly movers. The price we thought was kind of expensive, however; this was the first interstate move we had, so we really didn't have anything to compare it to. Other than that, it was a great service. Horrible .. Will never consider them again! 12/27/2014

Each day we waited for a week while Colonial promised our things would be picked up that day, movers showed up Christmas morning, didn't bring a truck large enough after me telling the sells rep I'm in a wheelchair & didn't know what all was in the attic. Half of my stuff is still in another state with Collonial promising they would pick it up for days after the other pickup. Driver was rude & demanded more money after colonial gave us s balance. I had to call the police. With this company they will tell you anything to get off the phone, they never return phone calls .. At this time we have paid out $5,000 plus dollars still waiting on other truck they gave us a max price quote price of $3,400-3,600... Looks like we will have $8,000 in this move. Sad! more

The move was excellent in every way. They were prompt in answering the phone or returning calls. Pleasant, polite, and genuinely concerned about exceeding expectations. The moving company crew was very professional, fast, and hard working. Most importantly my furniture was picked up and delivered on time, as promised. No damage. The cost was reasonable compared to others. I was called several times before and after the furniture delivery to make sure I was satisfied and to address any questions. I will use Colonial Van Lines again without hesitation. more

From the initial estimate to the day of the move, they made the process super easy & fast. Our initial contact Christoper Wright gave us an aggressive quote and met competitor's prices. Our job number was 55147002-CO-A. Everything was exactly timed and we were continuously informed on phone by the case manager, Aisha Blaze about the process. Once, the movers arrived, we were very impressed with how hard the two men worked. They showed up on time, followed directions, and worked very quickly. we were surprised with the great work effort they put into moving our belongings. We received our stuff in around 36 hours from pickup to delivery (NY to NC). Everyone from the marketing department, financial department, to moving department were very responsive and hard working. Very professional company, will use them again . Highly recommended! more
