Where do i begin, this has been a great experience.We moved from Georgia to Oregon and you always hear horror stories about moving companies but let me tell you about Colonial and their experienced team of professionals. I had rec'vd several calls from and had taken several quotes from other moving companies. When Mr. David Lucina from Colonial called, he gave the warmest welcome and he cared about all my concerns and he cared about my family. David answered all of my questions, and gave the best quote. After the booking, my moving coordinator Mr. Hannif Benns (by far the best in the business) Hannif, stayed in contact with me from the pick up to my delivery. We spoke every other day. Mr. Benns made me feel like i was ONLY customer Colonial Van Lines had. I will recommend Colonial Van Lines to everyone i know. So if you are reading this and are planning on a major move, please call Colonial Van Lines and ask for David Lucina and Hannif Benns you will not be disappointed. more

Excellent Company 7/3/2014

I moved across the country and trusted these guys with all my worldly possessions expecting that they would arrive in a timely fashion, unbroken, and with considerate customer service. My expectations were exceeded. The quality of movers on both ends was superb - very professional and talented. What wasnt wrapped before they got there was quickly taken care of and handled gently. All mirrors, pictures, lamps, etc, arrived untarnished. On both ends they guys took care of breaking down and reassembling furniture quickly and successfully. Worst company in the history of companies 6/30/2014

Please, please, please, look at their horrible BBB rating and the reviews they have not falsely scattered on sites. This company does not return calls and changes dates multiple times. They say "it's within your window" every time they change your date, yet again, on the day OF the anticipated pickup or delivery (we had major problems on both ends). I would not recommend this company to anyone ever and hope they experience a major company restructure soon. This is the most unprofessional, unreliable, and inconsistent experience of my life. The repeated lies of promised call returns (had to initiate contact almost every time) and repeated date changes are infuriating. more

Stress Free Moving 6/17/2014

D. Bernloehr Job # 55030850-CO-A: I was very concerned about how to proceed with this move, not having moved for forty years. Leah, my contact, helped me and calmed me down. The movers arrived on time and proceeded very professionally to load my items and continued to deliver and unload just as professionally. Explaining the whole process to me and all the paperwork necessary. Arriving at Redmond earlier than expected, my daugther was in the middle of an appointment and they waited patiently for her to come home. They unloaded my boxes and furniture carefully, and stacked in an organized fashion. My daugthér relaxed while thèy unloaded, then signed some papers saying she received shipment. No Stress Moving 6/17/2014

Colonial Van Lines Relocation is the most professional and courteous moving company I have ever met. In fact, their professionalism and attention to details exceeds nearly every other business I deal with. Whenever a Colonial Van Lines associate said they would call or follow up, they did. Their drivers were on time and very polite. They know what they are doing! They kept every promise and provided the best moving experience I have ever had. Amazing Moving Experience 6/6/2014

Job#: 55044823-CO-A First time I have used Colonial Van Lines, it most definitely will not be the last! I moved my great grandmothers bedroom furniture from WI to my sister's house in NC. It was the most efficient moving experience I have ever had. All I did was call Colonial Van Lines, give them my information and sit back and relax. My move was quickly quoted, arrangements made and followed up on by very helpful and friendly people. Colonial Van Lines kept in constant contact with me up to, including and after the move. The truck personnel were extremely efficient, friendly and treated my shipment with extreme care. It arrived in NC on time, as promised and unloaded just as satisfactorily as the pick-up. I could not be happier with the level of professionalism I have received. I have a second cross country move already established and a third on the horizon. I recommend Colonial Van Lines to anyone!! more

Nice move 5/6/2014

I just moved from Indiana to San Antonio. I needed to move withing a week. Colonial is brokerage company and I had to pay up front almost half of the money. So I was wondering if people will show up and actually move us. They hired local people from Saint Louis and they were fun and hard working. I received plenty phone calls to check up on the progress and make sure I was satisfied. I had to pay the reminder in cash upon unloading which is helpful to know. Terrible move!!!! Beware of this company!!!!! 4/14/2014

This company showed up late, had to get additional packing supplies and an additional truck during packing. Our selves and our neighbors ended up packing the truck ourselves until 6am, because they only sent 2 people for a large move. The driver left in the middle of our move and flew to Miami for a D.O.T. training class, abandoning our items at a local truck stop. We made many calls to the company with no solution given to us. we finally convinced CVL to let the other mover drive the trucks over and we ultimately unpacked ourselves and reassembled all of our furniture until 2 am. We still had to pay in full to receive our goods and when we called to dispute the service we told that the driver never left because the truck could not be unloaded if that were true. These people are liars and will make your move more difficult and stressful than doing it yourself. Do yourself a huge favor- do not hire these scam artists!!! more
