Colombinis Pizza & Deli

Completely unsatisfied. I was told a hot sub would take 10 minutes...it took 25. When I told the Italian owner-looking guy of this, he began to disagree with me and tell me that 10 minutes had only passed. The bread was almost burnt and the amount of eggplant was scant at best. The bread to eggplant ratio was way off...it was basically like eating a loaf of burnt Italian bread with an occasional taste of eggplant. Finally when the sub was given to me, the girl kind of tossed it on the counter at me and walked away. There was no apology for the time it took at all. The brownie was also stale and at least a few days old. Don't go. I have no affiliation with Rubino's, but will say that their subs and food is far better than this sorry excuse for an Italian Deli. Everything is fresh and all the women making subs are simply friendly. If you want a little more filling on your sub, just ask...they usually don't even charge you. I'm referring to the one on Ridge Rd. Any other location has no affiliation with the others...just the same name. more

We went here the other day for the first time. We waited at least 5 full minutes for the guy to acknowledge us so we could place an order- he was too busy hanging out at the food counter talking to his girlfriend. He then literally jumped up over the counter to kiss her - never apologized for the delay. The food was sub-par - and best of all there was a hair (probably a beard hair from loverboy) in our sandwich. Gross. It seemed that there was a small fire or something had dreadfully burned because the entire place was full of smoke-we reaked of it when we left. I cannot believe people come here more than once- then again, so many of the reviews are suspiciously over-enthusiastic one is left to wonder... more

I found a coupon for this place and decided to give them a try especally after reading the reviews - people driving 45 minutes, I figure it really must be good. I should have known better than to check the order especially as the pizzaand wings were taped shut. The pizza was over done and not just the bottom - the cheese was atleast 1/2 overly golden brown and what there was of it had slid any which way so there were bare spots all over the whole sheet pizza. The wings - which I did order boneless and on the coupon it says boneless were in fact bone in and nothing I would call jumbo. I was not about to drive 25 minutes back to have it fixed. I am very disappointed and wish I had the experience the other review writers had, but will have to chalk it up to a lesson learned - one to be shared with others and not worth a second chance. A very popular spot in Chili for pizza, subs, and more. Last time I went one of the people in the kitchen started swearing and yelling at their coworkers. I'm glad I didn't have my six year old with me. A good number of the people waiting to pick up their food seemed to know who it was too. My order took much longer than it was estimated to take as well but compared to the other customers that night and other visits that seems to be an anomaly. more

Regretfully haven't been there in a couple years. But last night had a 1/2 sheet, swt. peppers, onions, sausage and 24 wings w/ JD's spicy sauce. STILL the best pizza my family has ever had in Rochester, and the wings also GREAT! Please do yourself a favor and check them out. more

It's been the best for may years. I have relatives who drive 45 minutes just to get a Colombini's pizza. It's fresh, homemade, and delicious...at a fair price. I won't buy a meatball sub any whee else and the pizza is extraordinary! Pros: The best food around! more

Used to live nearby and enjoyed Colombinis. They offer some great food selections and have have found them to be very consistent. Have ordered specialty food and was pleased. PROS: QUALITY!!! CONS: none more

Great Hot Butterstreak Subs, always made to perfection. Pizza's are a step above other local pizzerias. more
