If you are looking for authentic, flavorful soul food--KEEP IT MOVING. The best thing about the Collard Green Cafe is the sign that sits on I-85! I like to support minority-owned businesses, but owners must put out a quality product. From the BROWN BROTHA crawling on my feet, to lack of basic necessities---like air conditioning and a public restroom, the Cafe has some things to work on. Now--the food . . . obviously, the cooks did not taste their food, as there was no seasoning anywhere in sight! The sugary collard greens and dry pinto beans needed a few more hours of cooking and a few more pieces of ham hocks or smoked turkey! The salisbury steak bricks needed some gravy and some more tender meat. Ok---I'll stop here, although I could continue with the macaroni and powder cheese. Ok, positives---THE CONE BREAD was delicious!!
