Recently spent a Monday lunch at Coconuts and had a very nice experience. Of note, Mondays and Tuesdays offer half price bottles of wine as well as drink specials. We had peel and eat shrimp which were very nice sized, a "special of the day" stone crab appetizer (mediums-about 4 for $19.00) which were very nice and came with a delicious mustard sauce, and a crabcake salad. The crabcake was very meaty with little breading and had a very fresh seafood taste and the greens were fresh and crispy as well. The kids got to see one of the kitchen staff feed the Tarpon and Jack that were swimming around the pier which was pretty neat. The view of the marina was very pleasant and the staff was very nice and friendly. Will definately recommend a visit! more

This place is awesome!! Their fish tacos and New England style lobster rolls are my favorites. A big plus is their outdoor on the water seating; it's located in a marina. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Ft. Lauderdale, give them a try!!!! more

I don't like it; I love it. I eat there at least weekly. Nicest people in the world. What's with the whinners? I hope they stay home and leave me a parking space. Lots of regulars here and I always bring out of town guests. It's a hit. Try a fish taco more

Unbearable noisy. No place to park the boat. Staff will not accomodate the customers. Was a nice place a few years ago but is a war zone now. Was almost knocked over by a two waiters. Unable to have conversation due to noise problem and people packed into small space. Managers are arrogant and don't care about anything except taking your money. If you eat there they will take much of your money. Unsat. more

Just myself, my wife and or 17 month old son. That added 18% gratuity on our dinner bill. What's that about? They lost out on money from me because I start at 20% for tips. more

Where is the really, really, really like option because that is how I feel about the food and service at Coconuts. From the time we walked throiugh the door to the time we left you would have thought we were there only customers. It seems like a place the locals dine and it's a little loud but the food is to die for and of excellent quality. One of the best meals I've had in a long time. In a party of 6, everyone loved their meal. more

Crab cake, fish tacos and deviled eggs were delicious!! Great service, fun atmosphere and very reasonable prices. A local's tip took us here and it was well worth it! more

Brunch was outstanding. Entire family loved it, from the 74 year old Dad to the 3 year old nephew. Rave reviews for the very plentiful lobster in the Lobster Benedict; the amazing French Toast stuffed w bananas and covered in Nutella; the complex flavors in the gigantic Chorizo Fritatta w bacon chutney; excellent Salmon Hash and the complimentary beignets w lemon sauce. Five stars - hands down! more

We really enjoyed our recent visit. Everyone really enjoyed the drinks that were fresh and made right, the crab claws, the bread, burgers and fresh catch of the day, was all over the top. And,.....the service knew what they were selling and knew that we were the customer. A pleasant change in today's restaurant biz. more

The food was super fresh, really delish, great flavor profiles and the service was beyond perfect. So many excellent 4 star restaurants should have their staff trained by Coconuts Mgmt. They do everything right! Friendly, pleasers who want you to have a great time and we rewarded them with a nice tip and it was our pleasure! more

Love this place. The menu is simple and fresh. Not at all "bar food". Sit right on the water and bring your dog. One of my faves... more

I'm not sure who added this as a wine bar, but thats not what it is. Its a very casual waterfront bar/restaurant with pretty good food. more

Great place for some seaside dinner or lunch. It seems like it's going to be typical bar food, but the coconut shrimp and the mahi sandiwch were delicous. more

I was pleasantly surprised by the food at Coconuts. I was expecting the same old type of bar food on the water many places serve. Everything I tried was much better than expected. I highly recommend checking the specials on the board on the way in. On my way out the manager came over to talk to us and was extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend trying Coconuts and sitting outside. Great patio. Also, they are dog friendly on the patio. I brought my dog and it was great. I will make this place a regular stop around the water in Fort Lauderdale. more
