I spent over $1300 on required camp logo'd clothing and items for my kids, who are going for the first time to a camp that requires certain items to have the camp logo. I ordered in April, received email confirmation of my order right away, and was told several weeks later that my items should ship in mid-May and not to worry re: getting items in time for Baggage pickup on 6/18.
I then received multiple emails telling me some items were backordered, then would spend 30-50 minutes on several phone calls trying to find out a ship date, as it got to be June! Was told a few items were suddenly out of stock and were canceled from my order by EMAIL the week of Baggage pickup!
Items that did arrive didn't fit, per the sizes sold last year (tried on a friend's items from last year and ordered accordingly!) Medium sweatshirt wouldn't fit over my 9 yo son's head, but the matching medium pants fit fine, even a little big! The large sweatshirt arrived the DAY BEFORE Baggage pickup, and without a pre-sewn in name tag, which I had paid for!
Certain items, which I requested to be sent to my home asap and NOT to camp, which they had offered due to how late it was getting, were shipped - guess where? - to the camp!
I was running around like a maniac the few days before pickup, trying to buy missing items from local camp retailers who were understandably low on stock! (And, they all chuckled when they heard who I'd ordered through; apparently Cloz is well known in this area for being unreliable!)
One good thing is, it was easy to arrange thru Cloz, for the camp to return the several items I bought locally that were sent to camp. (Well, relatively easy. I was still on hold for 20 minutes before being helped, and we'll see if what she told me actually happens! I have learned to be very skeptical about this place!)
This morning, I emailed my kids' camp and begged them to consider authorizing one of the local camp retailers so I could have the option of using them for future required logo'd items!
At a minimum, I will never order anything I don't HAVE to from Cloz again! One of the worst retailing experiences I've ever had!
Pros: Nice catalog?
Cons: They drop the ball, over and over and leave you stressed!
