Very poor reputation. One of two boat shops to be avoided at all costs in the Fresno Area. Clovis Marine and Ed's Marine. Your money comes hard, do not waste it on either shop...

We had the day from hell with this man Dave at clovis marine, he took us also for 2,000 dollars,we seen that he has a violent temper when questioned, and it got real ugly and he pushed my husband clear out the door! I dont know how this man is still in business or not in jail he is a crook! more

I was truly impressed with the quality of work done by Clovis Marine, I have taken this same boat to two other boat shops and neither of them correctly fixed my boat. I highly recommend Clovis Marine and will only take my boat to them for service and repairs. more

Outstanding service & repair history 2/9/2012

I have taken my boat to Clovis Marine for many years. The service has always been outstanding. They always give me my old parts and review the repair with me. The owner instists on using only manufacturer's parts - no aftermarket, low quality stuff. I have always been pleased and highly recommend them. more

Very poor reputation. One of two boat shops to be avoided at all costs in the Fresno Area. Clovis Marine and Ed's Marine. Your money comes hard, do not waste it on either shop. Clovis Marine is the worst of the worst. The owner Flum is a complete nut. A vindictive weirdo with a well earned reputation. Ask at the lakes. Ask at the river. Ask the boat owners what they have experienced. It's overwhelming. more

Poor Reputation that well earned 1/24/2012

Ask around at the lake. Talk to boat owners. Talk to those who have been taken by Clovis Marine. Do yourself a favor. Research produces the same response over and over. NO NO NO NO NO! This is not a good place to have your investment worked on. UNLESS....you want to throw money down the toilet then have the work performed re repaired elsewhere. ASK AROUND! Ask those at the lake. Ask your neighbors. THE TRUTH is in the reputation from those before you. more

Do your homework--Internet search 1/23/2012

boat owner--do your homework. Read the poor reviews. Take advice from someone who has been taken and cheated by Clovis Marine. Fresno has good boat shops. Clovis Marine is not on that list. Clovis Marines reputation is clearly spelled out. I was cheated. Others before me. Hopefully this will stop. If you are cheated and your boat is poorly repaired there are remedies available. TELL THE INTERNET. DO NOT LET CLOVIS MARINE GET AWAY WITH THEIR METHOD OF CHEATING CUSTOMERS. more

BAD NEWS! Ask at the lakes of other boat owners experiences! Ask around. You will hear the same drumbeat. NO NO NO NO NO! The owner is a gas bag bully. It cannot be said enough! NO! This boat shop is not to be trusted. Owner is a creep. The work to your investment will be sloppy. Don't even think of returning unless you want a gun pulled on you. There are great shops in the Central Valley. Ask them how many boats from Clovis Marine they have had to re repair. more

Worst Boat Shop in the Central Valley--- 1/19/2012

Ripped me off folks. Clovis Marine is the worst shop in Fresno. I did not do my homework. I have since learned that Clovis Marine has a history of ripping off new boat owners, You are open season if you enter that shop. I found after they screwed my boat up, (repaired elsewhere) that they have a long history and this is a pattern of conduct. www.ripoffreport God how I wished I had researched Clovis Marine. There are some good shops in town--Clovis Marine is not one of them. Boat owner beware! more
