I've taken my dogs here twice now; the first time I waited over an hour past the appointment time because Dr. Butzer was running behind. It wasn't until I started walking towards my car that the staff told me he was finally in the room. He didn't even apologize or anything. That said, he seems like a very nice person, so I decided to give the practice one more chance. \r I brought my dogs back for lab work a month later as one has kidney disease and one has liver disease. It took a whole week to get a hold of the doctor to get the results (which only take one day). Every time I asked to speak to him, he was always in an emergency. In my opinion, this place has just bit off way more than it can chew- it's just not the right vet if you want attentive, personalized care. more

Horrible/ Childish Office Manager but Great Vets 9/3/2011

My whole family went to this vet for over 20 years. The Drs are great. The office staff are very slow. However, I recently decided not to go back because of the office manager. He has a horrible manager. I took my dog for a procedure and when I came back they were charging me more than what we had agreed on when I left. The office manager was so rude. He told me I am not flexible or gratiful. He was very childish stating that this is not a mechanics and the price can change. I told him that Ive been coming here for over 20 yrs and this is isnt exceptable. In return he said I can go ELSEWHERE. So I told him I didnt care for him or his attitude and he responding by the feeling is mutual.\r Anywhere were an office manager is going to tell the customer of 20 yrs that they are ungratiful, unflexible and they dont like them isnt the place for me more

Dr B is a great vet in this MDs opinion 7/31/2011

Dr Butzner is a phenomenal vet who absolutely loves animals.I adopted a beautiful longhaired chihuahua from Tricounty Humane Society who bit another vet that I took her to for evaluation of severe itching,as I could see no skin lesions or fleas etc.was told needed to give a better history(???) in order forhim to give an diagnosis.I am an MD and told him if an infant were scratching .I would look at the skin,Dr Butzner immediately established great relationship with my Chi,who was licking him like a long lost friend in 5 minutes.He thoroughly examined her and discussed differentail diagnosis (prob allergy bc no fleas ,ticks,visible skin lesions) and discussed several ways of dealing with the situation including giving her chewable pediatric Benadryl tabs(which worked superbly).He is extremely knowledgable,personable,kind and friendly.He loved my chi,wheras the other vet obviously did not know how to establish a relationship with her and wrote on her chart WILL BITE./pointing her out to more

Excellent vet care and boarding 8/16/2010

I would highly recommend Clint Moore Animal Hospital for both vet care and boarding. We had put off getting our lab spayed and Dr. Chadwick did an amazing job spaying her even though she was age 7. What I will always remember is him calling me in person afterward to tell me "my baby" was doing great. Equally as good is Clint Moore's boarding service; having a team of 6 vets available when your pet is being boarded gives you a peace of mind. Our dog always returned from boarding there clean, healthy, well-fed, and happy. I don't look forward to boarding my dog, but always knew she would be safe there when it was necessary. I wouldn't call Clint Moore a discount vet, and at times it is quite busy in their front office, however this is a sign that they have many loyal customers and I would recommend them to anyone who loves their pet enough to pay for quality care. more

Butzer Brian K Dvm - Clint Moore Animal Hospital is great 9/20/2009

I have been go to dr butzer sense I have been taking my animals to dr. Butzer sense I was 13 I am now 38 . I have to say that he is the best vet , he does care for his aniamls like there his own it all started when I had a cat that was going to die from to much ash and my mom did not have all the money he told my mom that she could pay $20 dollars a week till it was payed and he saved my slyvester . In june I had to make the biggest discusion in my life and put my dog down after 14 years and he was so kind to her ,her whole life from three months old till her last breath . God bless dr. butzer. Thank you for all you do! I will be seeing you soon We got a new puppy! more

i came to Dr.Butzer when my 11 y Japanese Chin became ill with heart problems.He has a spiritual connection with your pet. He will always see you and your pet take as long as he need, I want to truly thank him and his staff for the kindness today when i had to put my Boy Dusty down.Thank you more

Dr. Butzer is the BOMB!!! 4/1/2009

I have been going to Dr. Butzer over 3 years now and he has been the best Vet I have ever been to. He spends so much time with his patients and cares about each individual animal to the fullest. He aids my 3 dogs, 2 birds, and 2 cats and I love this place for that. Even though some of his staff is horrible. The waiting time is worth it! more

I would like to encourage the vets who practice here and say THANKYOU for treating the poor neglected pets in your country with such dignity and caring. Drs. Butzer and Chadwick have been compassionate and enlightened in helping my precious Kissu stay as healthy as possible. When it recently became tragically inevitable that the choice to alleviate her suffering from an enlarged heart and kidney failure, Dr. Butzer was a spiritual guide. To Joe J. \r The smell of urine must have been when your dog pissed on you as you were about to get his male jewels removed!!\r The facility is one of the finest equipped and staffed Vet clinics in the entire state. No one single Vet is more caring and compassionate than Dr B. \r Perhaps a long wait in the waiting room discouraged you but it is a reflection of his popularity. more

My dog has been a patient here since we got him @ 8wks. He's now 13. Dr Chadwick is great! I wouldn't have any other Vet! My dog has had surgeries, illnesses...you name it and has always received the best care I could ask for. more

Truly the Best and Most Caring in All of S Florida 4/20/2008

My experience with Dr Butzer and his staff has been nothing short of incredible. I have 2 very large dogs. The new one has been going to Clint Moore since 12 weeks old and he's now 4 months; the older is 4 1/2 years.\r As with any blog area there will good and bad experiences as well as pet owners with different personalities. I suggest you take a good long look at this organization, they are the best and most caring you will find. You might have to wait from time to time, but that is only because the care being provided to the pet before yours was as comprehensive and caring as you will expect. IT'S NOT ABOUT US IT'S ABOUT OUR PETS. more

Great Hospital- Wonderful Caring Vets 4/2/2008

I run a no kill, non profit animal rescue in Boca Raton (Ruff Beginnings, Inc.), FL. My dogs and cats have been patients at Clint Moore Animal Hospital for 5 years now and I would never choose to take my pets anywhere else. Clint Moore always goes the extra mile to make sure my babies get the WONDERFUL care they deserve. Some people may complain that you sometimes have to wait a little while when you go, but take a magazine and know that you are providing your best friend with the best vet care you can find. The vets don't rush you out of the exam room, they take the time, to answer ALL your questions without looking at their watch, so if you wait a few minutes- thats why! more

DR. BUTZER IS CRAZY......ABOUT HIS PATIENTS!!!!! 3/29/2008

I have used Dr. Butzer for over 20 years and there is not another veterinary clinic that I would consider using. He has taken care of seven cats and dog (most of which I have adopted from his clinic) and he is the most compassionate individual, both with the animals, and the families, that I have ever met. Every time my animals come to him, he always gives them a Butzer Buss. Yes, he kisses my animals on the face. It is obvious that he truly loves what he does and loves his patients.Two years ago, I was forced to put my beloved sheltie, Casey to sleep. I sat on the floor and held Casey during the process, and I am not ashamed to admit that I cried like a baby. Much to my surprise, I looked up to see Brian crying as well. The entire clinic shared their condolences with me, and I could feel that they shared my loss.In addition to Dr, Butzer, there are 4 other veterinarians at the clinic. The best of Boca!!!!!!! 3/15/2008

My dog had been missdiagnose for several years that was until I was told about Clint Moore Animal Hospital. To my surprise I learned that they are opened 7 days a week and have a friendly staff. (also they have a doctor living next to the practice). They work with many organizations, Golden Rescue, Ruff Beguinings, K-94u. etc,. After many months and 2500 dls I had finaly recived an accurate diagnosis after only One visit. I had spent thousands and I had no answer, and Dr. Butzer had no doubts about her diagnosis. My dog is now doing Very well, she was diagnosed with Mega Esophagus. And the medicatios they gave me worked like magic. Thank you so much for caring and working so hard. more
