Does Anyone know if they will fix male Guinea pigs???? Please tell me? THX more

we have to give thanks to Dr. Lakey for his emergency care of our beloved pet Cracker. We were so scared when we found out that her back legs were not working and she was not eating or drinking. I called in a panic, and Dr. Lakey told us to bring her over. Being in a bad state and not wanting our kids to see that, my husband took her. She had a stroke and become blind. She was in no pain. Dr. Lakey said she could live a few weeks more but it was not good for her or us. So we had to put her down. The doctor was more than understanding. Even if i was not there, i must thank him and recommend all to visit b/c they truly care for the animals taken there. more

I can not say enough about Dr. Pete and Dr. Lackey, they are the best. Doc Pete has looked after our Newfs since the day they joined us, which has been over 10 yrs. He and his staff are the most passionate and caring facility we have ever been to. We lost one of our Newfs unexpectedly this past May. It was a complete shock as she died at an early age from bone cancer. The care, understanding and compassion showed by the entire staff was overwhelming and we can never repay them for their kindness and support. Dr. Pete and Dr. Lakey were right there every minute we needed them, including late at night or early morning. They went above and beyond what any facility needed to do. They have worked with me regarding the bill and I can not express how grateful I am especially in this economic time when I am currently unemployed. If someone EVER has or had a bad experience with Clemmons Vet, Dr. Pete, Dr. Lakey or the staff I can only asume they are not happy at any place they go and no one can more

I can't say anything but great things about Dr. Pete and Dr. Lackey. I have more trust in the care that they provide to my dogs and cats more so than my own medical doctors. They really care about your animals and the staff there is exceptional. more

We've actually found Clemmons Vet to have the lowest prices around and I've called all of them in the Lewisville/Clemmons area. Our cat broke her hip and had to have surgery and the bill was a lot lower than we expected. We always ask about the costs up front and we base our decision on that.\r They are also extremely friendly and very caring. more

Dr G is very personable and caring individual. However he takes advantage of people at every turn. My son took his dog to see the Vet when he was suffering from a bloody nose. Dr G. did a lot of unnessesary tests on the animal and then perscribed prednisone to treat him. He stated that he would have given him prednisone without performing these tests (which were all negative) he perscribed the drug, the dog got better and he charged him $600. When I spoke with the doctor and asked him why he didn't tell my son the cost, he stated that some people get offened when he talks money. I told the Vet I would not have been offened at all. He then asked how much he was willing to pay, I said I would give him $200 and he said that would be acceptable. Since they have sent my son a bill every month charging a processing fee each time. My son is active duty Military and has not been home since January. Beware folks they will take advantage of you here. more

I absolutely love Dr. Gilyard, Dr. Lakey, and the rest of the staff at Clemmons vet. They are all so helpful and friendly and they all truly care about your animals. We have two large dogs, a boxer and a GSD, and both dogs are treated with such great love and compassion when we are there. \r \r In September, we had to put our older boxer down and Dr. Gilyard came outside to perform the procedure. He let us have some time with our dog and after it was over, he was emotional with us. It was an absolutely heart breaking moment, but the fact that Dr. Gilyard shared in our emotions helped us to know we had made the right choice and we will not take our animals anywhere else. We even got a sympathy card with all of the staff's signatures. Our pets will not ever see any other vet. more
