I am using a Clear mobile usb modem right now and it rocks. I bought the $40 a month high speed deal. Month to month , no contract. Easy Easy Easy. I think it can be particular about where you are in room or whatever. Kind of like a cell phone. more

Absolutely Love It! 11/25/2010

I have both the mobile usb for my laptop and the modem for my home and I ABSOLUTELY love it!! I never have problems with the service..Not sure what is going on in Jacksonville, but I am in Atlanta and the service is Fabulous! Was able to get rid of Comcast and save myself alot of dollars. I hooked the modem into a wireless router and my whole house became a hotspot...Love it and will recommend to anyone! more

I am very angry 11/23/2010

Clear downloads files at around 50kB/s. That is a top speed. That is a bad top speed. It is a complete waste of money and does not even remotely match up to what it was supposed to be. I AM VERY, VERY ANGRY AT HOW OFTEN IT GOES OUT OF COMMISSION. Every time it rains, I lose my internet. Cloudy day? Things slow waaaaaaay down. I even had to reload this page several times and wait 10 minutes to get it to pull up so that I could write this angry complaint. DO NOT USE CLEAR, unless, of course you want to WASTE YOUR MONEY ON BAD INTERNET. more

it's not worth it 11/23/2010

Clear Internet sux major a$$ it's not worth it. The internet connection is off more than not. I hate it you can be right in the middle of something online and it just shuts off. I am a big COD: Modern Warfare 2 player and everytime I'm winning it just shuts off. Again it's not connected more often than it is connected. Do not waste your time or money I'm heading back to Time Warner ASAP. more

No Service Failures 11/23/2010

I have only had the service for a few days but I can say that Clear internet service has been awesome. I love the fact that I can get online without having to search for a hotspot or using my cellphone to surf that net when I am not home. The speed of the service is decent and I have not experienced any outages or service failures. The installation was easy for my home computers I just swapped out my cable modem and installed the new home wireless modem to the router and the new laptop that I purchased from Clear was already active when I turned on the computer for the first time. more

not yet reached full speed 11/18/2010

Just got CLEAR a week ago. I signed up 4? the 6MPS plan but I only average 3MPS on 4 bars. I only get 5 bars once or twice a day. I had ATT cheap plan & that was slow in comparison. My only gripe w/CLEAR internet service is that I am paying for 6MPS but I haven't reached that speed yet. I was told by a rep that they're still in a test phase or something so, not really sure when I'll be up 2 full speed. If I can get full speed then I will go around telling everyone 2 drop their current service and make the switch. more

Clear internet service is the best wireless service I've ever had. Compared to Verizon (3g), Sprint (4g) and Cricket (3g), Clearwire's 4g blows them away. more

CLEAR has turned out to be the most satisfying internet provider I have had to deal with. Start-up was a breeze, and the connection is never less than perfect, no matter where I am operating from. more

I just think it?s super fast. It?s never ever gone down for me?so far it?s been a great savings for us as well because we don?t have to have the home phone. We?re saving about probably $40 a month. more

Clear modem does not work 11/3/2010

I ordered clear thru a local rep. what a rip-off...i bought the modem and the voip, niether worked i live in logan square in chicago. they said im smacked in the middle of 3 towers...literally 4 blocks east, west and north of me and i cant get more than one bar. the modem was always rebooting itself had the reps who sold me the service and they could not get anymore but one maybe 2 bars. i ordered it on the 17th of feb it is the 8th of march, and the rep took my modem and voip box and nothing has been return or credited to my account. their customer service is the worst than att. so please think twice maybe 3 times...this service suks....at this point i am going to see what legal actions i can take up with them and the local rep. more

Clear has bad business practices 11/2/2010

A couple of years ago I used Clearwire for personal use since highspeed internet was not available in the area surround Killeen. The coverage and speeds were good at the time and comparable to DSL and cable. However, their business practices regarding contracts were horrendous. more

Thank you Clear 10/26/2010

My roommates and I got Clear about three months ago and were given a bad modem, sent it back and got a brand spanking new one with full lights so perfect connection. We have two laptops, a desktop, PS3 and Xbox all hooked up to the Wi-fi or direct to modem. We can play on line, BOTH consoles, us a torrent to download a movie and have another person stream from Hulu without lag...think we'll be keeping the service! Thank you Clear for making it so we don't have to deal with Cox. more
