They give their hearts and souls to the animals of Henrietta! 9/23/2016

Henrietta has a huge overpopulation problem but this shelter does all they can to help alleviate it. Every time kittens cross my path, which is often, I work with the shelter and they are fully vetted and find homes where I can be confident they will be cared for. Through my volunteer work with the shelter, I've saved 33 kittens and 4 pups in the last 15 months. They've rescued many, many more. No, they don't have the manpower to sit waiting for the phone to ring - they are busy all day. But calls do in fact get answered and I suspect that the person who left the scathing review wishes she could take it back. more

EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE 9/2/2013

Looked on their website a week or so ago, found a gorgeous dog that I would like to meet, & truely believe I'll fall in love with & take home. At this point, it is a pipe dream & will NEVER happen because I have patiently (Until now!) Left 5 messages over 7 days. No one has called. No one has called to leave a message or try to explain what possible crisis could be happening that would cause a shelter to iGNORE calls for an ENTIRE week! I question if they are really there-which is also why I haven't driven out. I can't trust them to answer a phone! Why should I drive out there & trust they will be there? more
