Clarke Kent Plumbing

We had a terrible experience with this company and would never use them again, or recommend them to anyone. Our gardener pointed out a leak in the concrete on one side of the house. We called Clarke Kent plumbing and they came out to take a look. Not only did they take 6 hours to inspect the leak, they told us the only way they could figure out where the leak is is to use a "carbon machine" which would cost us $550. if they didn't find the leak, they would expense this. However, if they found the source of the leak, we would pay for this. Desperate and admittedly ignorant, I said yes. They went out to "buy" this machine, came back, and confirmed the leak to be in the bathroom sink. Then they said they would have to tear down the wall, run a new line, all in all it would cost $2000 just to open the wall and another estimated $10 to 15,000 to run the line depending on what they found. We were shocked. Cut to: we called a leak detection company. paid $475 for them to detect a leak with hi-tech equipment. They found leak in our toilet sealant, gave us a video of the detection for our records, and said it would be an easy fix estimated around $200. We called Clarke Kent and asked to be reimbursed for their misdiagnosis. They came, they made all sort of excuses, now they refuse to get back to us on anything. They asked for all our receipts and said they would get in touch with the company that fixed the leak to figure out what they did. In short, it has been months and still no response to any of our calls. We feel they are totally incompetent at best, corrupt at worst. Beware before considering them. more

After second time using your company I realized that you guys were by far the best plumbers that I had over the past 5 years since I purchased my house. Thank you for good work. more

Sorry I forgot my plumber's name (though I just got off phone with him). 5 star for good customer service. Today is friday, and I needed to fix water heater. I was refered to Clark Kent by another nice plumber. They was quick at responsing and dispatching. Though it is after 5pm, they still dropped by. For some reason, the previous plumber already fixed the problem. So this guy inspected the whole place and insured me that everything is fine now. He didn't even charge me dispatch fee!!!!!! They will definately be my future water heater repair people. more

The plumber from Clarke Kent was at my house at 8:02 this morning and was here for about 2 hours. They did not sell the water heater to me but have been out to fix it on my side of the duplex and on the rental side too. He determined my thermostat was bad but knew based on the install date that there was still a warranty on the part. He left to get the part, came back to install it and charged me for labor only. He completely handled teh part warranty for me at no extra charge. I can't be more satisfied and would recommend this company to anyone. more

At the end of the day, the bill came in right in the middle of Marcel's estimate. No surprises! I'll definitely be calling Clarke Kent and Marcel again if we have any problems! more

I needed some new sink plumbing hooked up in our remodel and an RO water filter. I ordered the RO off of Amazon. When it came I saw the tank was HUGE. Since we'd bought a 9" sink and larger disposal I was convinced the RO system would have to be mounted in the cabinet beside the sink, thus losing precious storage space. Was I ever wrong. Marcel made everything fit neatly! And we still have plenty of room for soap/cleaner storage below. Amazing. more
