I went to Dr. Clark so I could get my teeth cleaned and for him to check out my wisdom teeth to see if they needed to be removed. I had an okay experience getting my teeth cleaned. However, I was told he could take my wisdom teeth out because there was an oral surgeon in office. The day of the surgery the oral surgeon numbed my mouth and took out 1 of 4 wisdom teeth. Later Dr. Clark came in to remove the remaining wisdom teeth. I sat in the chair with my mouth open for 2 1/2 hours while he fought to remove my wisdom teeth. Mind you, I was NOT aware that Dr. Clark would be apart of this procedure. The recovery was absolutely horrible, I exchanged stories with others that I knew that had their wisdom teeth taken out before and their stories were no where near as horrifying as my experience. A year later the left side of my mouth is still numb, I cannot taste on that side of my mouth. It makes me wonder if my wisdom teeth even needed to be taken out at all. This was by far the worst experience of my life. I wake up every morning wishing I could taste and enjoy the beverages and foods like I used to.
