Go. Just go. My husband is a Civil War buff and I suggested we go there so that he would have fun while we were in the city. Not being that interested in the war, I went to hum...

Extra Credit 2/21/2006

In college i learned much more information on the civil war than in high school. My professor really encouraged all of us to go to this museum, even offering extra credit. The price was really cheap about five dollars so it was worth the extra credit! I was really amazed to see all the history in the museum. I thought the photos were really interesting as was some of the body armor. The truth is that i should have came here a long time ago I learned so much about our country. more

Great for kids and adults 1/10/2006

Great place for history buffs and people interested in American History to visit. The Civil War museum is worth a visit by everyone. Tickets are cheap ranging from a couple of bucks for kids to 5 bucks for adults. They offer a glimpse into the life of the civil war soldiers. Great place to spend the day especially if the weather is not to cooperative. more

Great history 7/27/2005

Thie Civil War Museum is a great place to go for a history lesson for yourself or for your kids. I have gone here a few times myself and have taken my kids here. They really like learning about what took place during the Civil War. Tickets to get in are very cheap. They run about five dollars for adults and two dollars for children under 12. Everyone should go at least once. more
