As an outdoor mall, this one misses the mark. As a tourist destination too. Whether you're going for a movie, to shop, or to dine, it just seems like its a mess. The alley is t...

fun stuff! 6/16/2002

The first time I went to City Walk my friend had a birthday dinner at The Hard Rock Cafe. I was in awe of how bright and catchy the walk was! I couldn't wait to finish dinner so we could go walk around. Unfortunately, my friend's thing lasted until midnight and almost everything was closed by then. I got to go back a while later to meet a friend for dinner and I got there early to walk around. There's so much to do. Shopping, movies, attractions, rides, food...it's definitely ""Hollywood"". True, it is quite crowded and it costs a bit to park, but I think it's worth it. Pros: lots to see, good food, never dull Cons: expensive parking, crowded, loud more

This place is not as big as you would think. It is crowded and very pricey. The only time i like to come here is at midnight with a huge group of friends to watch a movie...other then that stay away! you have been warned! However if you have never been i think you should go at least once... more

worth a visit 5/21/2002

They got a nice movie theatre, the Hard Rock Cafe, and an array of nice stores and diners. If your low on cash, stay away! Pros: great environment, cool shops, movie theatre Cons: need money2play, sorta boring more

My Own Personal Hell 5/15/2002

I'll admit that Citywalk is a great place to bring visitors wanting a taste of L.A. shtick--theme restaurants and shops, huge movie theaters, hordes of people, etc. But for all those reasons, I can't stand the place. It's crowded, noisy and the perfect microcosm of Hollywood cheese. If you have personal space issues, Citywalk will not be your cup of tea. The only reasons to go are the Imax theater and Benita's Frites--the best french fries in the world. Pros: Benita's Frites, Imax Movies Cons: Insanely Crowded, Noisy, Annoying more
