Cinelli's has ""distanced"" themselves from the former Vincent's in Cary (there's still a Vincent's on Capitol Blvd) - and there's good AND bad in that... while they've toned down...

Best of NY 8/30/2002

Having had tomato sauce in my bottle as a baby, I can say that Cinelli's is the closest thing to REAL NY Italian in the Triangle, without being in NY. The food is excellent, the service is unprecidented here in Dixie, portions are very nice, and the prices are reasonable. My vote is to make Cinelli's a State Treasure! Pros: GREAT Food!, Reasonably Priced, FANTASTIC Pizza Cons: Hard to Find more

great authentic italian 8/29/2002

not a fancy place but the best Italian in the triangle. generous portions also. Pros: food, portions more

Are you kidding me 8/29/2002

SIMPLY....THE BEST ANYWHERE! 8/25/2002

MY JOB ENTAILS A LOT OF TRAVELING, WHICH MEANS I'VE EATEN ALOT OF PIZZA IN A LOT DIFFERENT CITIES ALL OVER THE WORLD, INCLUDING ITALY, AND I'VE GOT TO TELL YOU, CINELLI'S IS SIMPLY THE BEST. Pros: BIG PORTIONS, BEST PIZZA, GREAT SERVICE Cons: FAR FROM HOME more

Good Italian Food! 8/22/2002

I have not had anything here that I did not enjoy. This place has become a regular spot for me and my room mate, we average at least once a week. Desert sampler plate (if still available) is a great deal and very good. Pros: Close to Duke Cons: Close to Duke more

Phenominal!!! 8/15/2002

I just moved to Raleigh, and I had my socks knocked off by truley amazing italian food. Coming from a large Italian family, I rarely eat out Italian Food. I accidently came across Cinellis looking for pizza, when I was surprised with a complete menu of authentic italian dishes. Curiosity got me, and the way I rate an Italian restaurant is by the way the meatballs taste. INCREDIBLE!!! is the only word I can use to describe this place. Pros: Cannolis, Traditional Recipes, Service more

Cinellis staff 8/15/2002

I have been working at Cinellis since 2001 and have never had a problem with the owners. I think they are a great couple to work for and beside. ""The wife"", Has become a very good friend of mine and conducts her restaurant in a very professional manner. I feel that she has been wrongly accused of being an unfair employer and should bring you up on slander! Get over Brianna, move on, get a life and leave good people alone!!! Pros: Fast seating, great atmosphere, great food more

outstanding 8/14/2002

Finally a TRUE new york style pizza was brought to the triangle. Cinelli's has neopolitan (traditional round),Sicilian (square thick crust) and offer the very popular amoung New Yorkers, grandma pizza. Their pasta dishes are outstanding, I enjoy their Pasta Cinelli more

A good Family meal!!! 8/14/2002

Cinelli's has been a part of my family's life for years. From their pizza to their pasta dishes to their desserts, I always have been completely satisfied. You can't beat the food, you can't beat the price, you can't beat this place. Period. Pros: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Cons: Not, a, one more

The place to eat. No question. 8/13/2002

If you want a meal to tell your grankids about, look no further than Cinelli's. I have been taking my family to their establishments for over 15 years, starting on Long Island, and let me tell you, I have very little reason to eat anywhere else. This is it for Italian. Look no further than Cinelli's. Great people, GREAT food. Pros: Pizza, Pasta, Service more

Best Around!! 8/11/2002

Everything is GREAT at Cinellis...Everything from the pizza to the service. It is a very welcoming place with great food and dessert! I highly recommend the salads as well as the Penne with Vodka sauce. To top it off help yourself to a nice big piece of Tiramisu! With the variety that Cinellis offers we have no problem eating there every week. Pros: Inexpensive, Friendly service, Good parking Cons: None! more

Best Italian in Cary 8/9/2002

My husband and I moved here from Connecticut a few months ago. We both grew up in the Northeast and know what good Italian food is. Cinneilli's is, without a doubt, the best Italian food we have found since arriving in the Triangle. The baked pasta dishes are outstanding and the pizza is wonderful. After our first meal there, we ate there 5 more times during an 8 day span! Try the lasagna, eggplant rollatini, shrimp parmigiana, chicken parmigiana, manicotti... it's all delicious and reminds us of those great Italian neighborhood restaurants we both grew up with. The pizza is thin and crispy - not those soggy, oily, drooping things that pass for pizza outside of NY. The staff is great as well - we always get excellent, attentive service with a smile. As for the value, the portions are huge and the prices are extremely reasonable. Pros: Outstanding food, Great Service, Great Value more

Finally, the taste of REAL NY Pizza!!! 8/8/2002

I grew up with Cinelli's food when I was a kid on Long Island and let me tell you, nothing has been lost in the move down here. I highly recommend the Grandma Sicilian Pizza. It's the best, bar none. As for pasta dishes, get the penne ala vodka with shrimp. You can't go wrong with the cold antipasto either. Fresh Boars Head cold cuts are used. Phenmomenal!!! Dessert? Tiramisu. Pros: Food, Service, Value Cons: No bar more

A Bit of Everything! 8/1/2002

Cinelli's is a casual place to dine, but on the other hand it is very ROMANTIC to take a love one. They have extrodanary dishes like there specialty ""Pasta Cinelli"" more

Cary's best kept secret 7/31/2002

Cinelli's Restaurant offers superb N.Y. style pizza and italian cuisine for a reasonably low cost. The restauant provides a comfortable atmosphere that can be both romantic and casual. The waitstaff is attentive but not overbearing. Both of which provide to accomadate the customer with an excelent dinning experience! Pros: inexpensive, convienent, good atmosphere more

Real NY pizza for a change 7/30/2002

It's nice to actually have an Italian restaurant that has traditional homemade dishes like brocolli and pasta. The pizza is thin and cheesy like a NY pizza is supposed to be. The vodka and penne was excellent and way too much to be finished in one seating. Prices were no more expensive than those chains that claim to serve Italian food... more
