OK.. I guess if I smoked, I would love this place.. But, I don't.. I just went, because some of my other friends that I was with wanted to go and smoke a cigar.. I figured, I'd go and get something to nibble on while they got "indoor smoking" out of their system.. But, alas when I go there, I figured out that there was no food on the menu and all the drinks (only beer and wine) they had were way too expensive.. I did like the small cigar room that they had.. The wait staff was also nice.. I'm not sure if I'll go there again though.. Pros: Place to smoke indoors Cons: No Food more

Cigar Masters was once very good, (7 years ago...) The staff and bad vibes in Back Bay are hard enough to deal with without having a nit-wit wait on you with a bad attitude of a failed model...I mean when I'm spending $25 on a good cigar I expect not to have my drink order messed up and then made to feel like it is MY problem... Cigar masters is by far one of the coolset hangouts in the city. I go after work on occassion to enjoy a good drink and a nice cigar. The ventilation they have is top notch so its never smokey in there. If you havent been you need to check it out. They also have lock boxes in the humidor for your personal cigars. Wow I had been looking for a place like this for a while and I found cigar masters. This place is a great alternative to bars. I brought my brother and his friends out here and they all loved it. It is in a great location and has such a nice atmosphere. The couches are sooooo nice, I actually asked my waitress if I could buy the one I was sitting on. You can even rent a locker in the humidor for the real cigar guys. I on the other hand just go and enjoy a reasonably priced cigar that is suggested to me by one of the employees. Cigar Masters is a great place to unwind. The couches there are ridiculously comfortable. You'll want to go to bed. I recommend Saturday afternoons as the best time to go; people are there but not too crowded, and you can feel acceptable in very casual clothing. You obviously have to enjoy smoke to go here - very little ventilation. The nice thing is for people who are not cigar experts there are cigars as cheap as 7 or 8 bucks, so you don't have to break the wallet to go. I always take my out of town friends there. I love it. I have been before going out at night, afternoons and after work. Don't go to meet people but incredibly relaxing. The staff will help you pick out a cigar and are extremely helpful and don't make you feel bad if you are clueless. Besides one experience where the waitress wasn't rude but obviously did not want to be there i have loved the staff. The crowd is mostly male but the waitresses are gorgeous and conversational (some have accents, wa wa we wa!) The beer list is fun, separated by country and staff has good reccommendations for pairing with cigar. The couches are what make it, you feel like you are just chilling at your rich uncle's house. I love this place, I try to make it about once a week, it's a little pricy but you can't put value on relaxation.
