On a recent trip to to Churasco's in part because of the proximity to the Hotel I was spending the night at I decided to go their because I heard the food was good. That was an understatement!
From the greeting and seating till the bill was paid and we were leaving the service was first-rate, though we came without reservations (early enough that it would not be a problem).
From the appetizers to the desert, each course was better than the last. We particularly liked the plantains, the uniquely fresh salads, and the entrees were perfect. I was in a steak mood, and it compared favorably to the steak I had a week later at the famous (and pricey) Morton's of Chicago. In fact, the Churasco steak was better.
The piece de resistance for us was the dessert, which we shared: the Tres Leches was prepared authentically, and was "to die for." I have had other great desserts from Seattle to Miami, and this matched them all. Those who like tiramisu, will love this tres leches. Churasco's has spoiled me.
