First of all I want to tell you that I'm not a huge fan of Greek food. But I do like to have it every few...

I visit this establishment at least once a week. They have the BEST Greek salads and the gyros are fantastic. I've been going here since the first opened up through the expansion and the quality has not waivered ever, not even once. I highly recommend. more

I have been told by many friends to stop by Chris Taverna and to try their food, brought my family and didn't expect to wait to be seated, there was a line outside the door. After fifteen minutes we were called and we had our table. we were approached by the server who had a big smile on his face so did his assistant. we had the calamari appetizer and the pikilia, very delicious. we shared the grecian platter as the server recommended since we wanted to try different types of meat; the lamp chops were unbelievable, so tasty makes you want to eat even the bones. my kids loved the pita bread and the taziki sauce. \r we finished our dinner by sharing a baklava, so good and fresh. \r it was really worth it having diner at chris taverna, the staff seemed to be very organized and attentive. we will be diffidently back to try the rest of their food. more

The best Greek food we love it more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 7/19/2012

My wife and I love the place. We've dined here probably a couple of dozen times in the past two years. The food is fresh, tasty, and plentiful. The murals on the walls really make you feel you are on a Greek island.\r \r We've never been disappointed with our order or the service. Obviously many agree because they are busy every night of the week, no slow evenings here. But even then, you rarely wait long. They have a lot of tables so the turn over is pretty quick.\r \r Our only disappointment is they no longer serve Retsina wine. Retsina is good with Greek fare and we miss it.\r \r We recommend! more

Worst example of Greek food I ever experienced. Cafeteria like atmosphere with bland and cold food. Service is horrid and they hawk you to write positive reviews even as you send food back. Simply Gross. more

Everything on menu is fantastic! They are most famous for their chicken pitas and gyros. All homemade, original authentic recipes made fresh everyday with the finest ingredients buy professional chefs. Vegan and organic friendly. Our family LOVES this places in past ten years owner has expanded three times because his business is doing so well with repeat customer and he rarely does advertisement except word of mouth by customers. Family own and operate. Clean and beautifully decorated. They have great lunch specials and are open 7 days a week hours vary. more

Above average Greek food. Friendly service. Large portions. Very busy but very large so you probably won't have to wait more than a half hour even on the weekend. more

COME MY FRIENDS .. When you go to an Italian restaurant you want to see real Italians who know the food, if you go to a Chinese restaurant Chinese who know about the food. in this fake GREEK restaurant and there are few Greeks probably not estimable. Why? I think the owner of the restaurant was Greek but I was wrong. When I looked around the only one who seems to give some commands was someone who probably looked like Indian origin and whose face was completely negative and no smiling. In a restaurant not only counts the food. should exist and positive and welcoming environment. What a pity not to have an identity this restaurant. The food is good and would be perfect if it were accompanied by Greek waiters and Greek owners. Besides, who knows better the food? at the dinner I talked with a Greek who was polite and nice with the funny accent. That was the only nice in this restaurant. I wish we were all the same waiters. Greeks. more

Best Greek food in Palm Beach County! Serving sizes are ginormous and the service is prompt and friendly. Gyro meat is tender and not dried out like others around here. Pork souvlaki was a little tough, but still very tasty. Definitely worth another visit. more
