If you manage to turn right at the right time while driving along King St. before Sheridan St., you may find yourself at Choi's. Consider yourself lucky if you do as they have some of the best tasting Korean BBQ on the island. Flavorful, juicy and VERY tender kal-bi, chicken, bulgogi, and even pork...my mouth waters just thinking of it. Items of note are their mochiko chicken and spinach tofu salad. The mochiko chicken is unlike any you'll find...tender nuggets of chicken fried and smothered with a thick semi-sweet shoyu-based sauce (spicy if desired). And the tofu salad...blocks of tofu hiding beneath a couple handfuls of fresh spinach, a scattering of fresh button mushrooms and lounging in a shoyu-based sauce that looks much much hotter than it actually is (alot of red specks...ie korean chili powder)--in fact it's barely spicy at all. Their regular cabbage kim chee is good but if you can, ask for their dried daikon kim chee...slightly sweet, crunchy and mm mm good.
