I had searched for a daycare for well over three weeks so when I found this one, I thought our search was over, BOY WAS I WRONG...During the tour, Laura (director) was friendly, made eye contact, and answered all of my questions, in fact, one of the questions I had was ""if I'm running late, will you folks save breakfast for my child?"" and Laura's response was ""sure, just call me ahead of time and I'll inform the teachers"". I thought to myself ""what a nice lady"". Her personality during the tour is what sold me. Well, it turned out that this was a typical sales pitch! Here is how it all began: On our first day, we were in fact running late so I called Laura and I notified her to save breakfast for my daughter. She responded that she would inform the teachers in the room. When we arrived, I asked the teachers where my child's breakfast was, to my amazement they responded ""Laura never told us to save anything for your child! (first red flag). Minutes later Laura approached the entrance to the room, only to ask the teachers ""how many children do you have now?"". She NEVER offered an apology, did not say hello, and made ABSOLUTELY no eye contact! A complete reversal from her tour personality. In fact, from that day forward, Laura never said hello to my child or I, never made eye contact, and treated us like we were invisible as we crossed path's in the hallway.; in short, never acknowledged our existence! A rude, obnoxious and hateful person to say the least, and that's keeping it mildly. I gave notice only after 2 weeks as it got worst! the second day as I was leaving my child's room, my child started crying as she was being left with strangers. Her teacher (a 22 yr old punk) picked her up and yelled at her saying ""we don't do that here!"". I obviously interjected and had to explain to this ignorant person that its only her second day, to please be mindful of that before yelling. Day four as I was walking towards her room, I heard and witnessed the ""toddler room 2"" teacher yelling at my daughter in the bathroom, yelling ""hurry up and go potty!"". The second week, the ignorant 22 year old teacher was fired (surprised?) but not because of my incidents (which I did not report to Laura as I felt I would be wasting my time) but because of all of the complaints she had had. What truly surprised me was that after I gave my 2 week notice, neither Laura nor the owner (who is the cook by the way) never asked why we were leaving! They could not care less!!! My child only lasted one month in this hell and only for the reason that I had to give a 2 week notice! For you parents that have children their and say that these things do not happen, I suggest that you show up unexpectedly, as I did. It will open your eyes! For you parents considering this place: don't let Laura's fake friendly demeanor sucker you in as she will show her true colors from day one, after you sign on the bottom line! As the old saying goes"" ""run, don't walk"".
