Worst

My hair was not done what i would call pretty.my hair was blowd-ryed and it was still poofy.I guess this place does not know how to straighten really thick hair.

Best place for curly hair 6/7/2011

I always hated my curly hair, but Raydine gave me a great cut, color and showed me how to style it. I now love my hair. Thanks Raydine! more

Hair cut and color 5/4/2011

Hello I had my appointment yesterday for hair cut and color. I unfortunately do not remember the name of the lady but, she was very nice. She got my color done just like I pictured and my cut. I have already got compliments on my color and cut. Thank you Chicago Hair care. more

There are not that many places where you can have a consistent experience at every visit, and leave with a feeling your time and money have been well spent. Chicago Hair Care is definitely one of those places. Raydine just knows her way around hair, and how to bring the best out of it. This was my first time to Chicago Hair Care and it was a great! Raydine made the experience very comfortable and relaxing. I'm usually quite nervous getting my hair cut (I have naturally curly hair and have had many many bad cuts). But her thoughtfulness and suggestions were wonderful. She knows her stuff! And I love the style and cut she gave me. Highly recommend for those with the curls. more

Here location has not always been convenient for me but because of her expertise, I am willing to go the distance to see her and now, her protege, Vicki. I think in a day of "me toos", Raydine and Vicki are considered "best of breed". They know their stuff and do it well! Check them out!! more

my new go-to hair salon! 4/17/2011

I first found this place 2 months ago on prettycity when they had their $31 promotion. My first appointment in February was with Vicky, who was very nice, a good listener and attentive. I wasn't getting a major cut, just a trim and to test out the hair salon. A few days later I received a really nice thank you postcard from Vicky with $8 off towards my next service! I had my second hair appointment yesterday at Chicago hair care and requested Vicky again. This time I had about 2" cut off, more layers and bangs done. Vicky was once again very professional, attentive yet not hovering. She did a great job with my cut and took care to listen to what I exactly wanted. It was a rainy and dreary afternoon but I came out feeling light and happy, my hair withstood the weather on the 5 minute walk home. Chicago Hair Care is great competition to nearby hair salons charging slightly more for their services. I'd recomment it to anyone. more
