The Chicago Tribune has been a daily read for me for many years now. My morning just does not start unless I have gone through the front page of this newspaper. This paper is an excellent source for news information. They have interesting, thorough, and a good balance of articles on here. Their news covers local, national, and international areas. You will also find reviews, commentaries, and even reader feedback. If you are buying this paper off stands, try looking into weekly subscriptions. I get the entire week's paper for around two dollars! Call 1-800-Tribune. And, no, I do not work for the Tribune :D more

Chicago Tribune 4/2/2006

The Chicago Tribune is my personal favorite newspaper in Chicago. There are two editions that I especially like: the Wednesday paper and the Sunday paper. The Wednesday one I like for its great foods section, that has lots of cool recipes and restaurant reviews. And I like the Sunday one for its array of articles, including sales flyers and tv guides, etc. The writers here are great and I love to read their little section that has comments from readers. Chicago Tribune 4/1/2006

The Sun-Times and the Tribune have been duking it out for years. The Sun-Times probably sells a little more nationwide. It may be the format and the way the paper is layed out. I don't think the Times is as respected for journalism the way the Tribune is however. They seem to be a better source for hard-core news and "news junkies". Their entertainment section is not as interesting to me. Overal it is a great paper and my favorite edition is their Sunday paper (It weighs like 50 lbs :) You can visit their historic headquaters on Michigan Ave. also. more
