Better than taking the long way! 2/24/2006

The Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel is expensive, $10, but it's definitely better than taking the long way around. Since they did the bridge update 10 or so years ago and you now have 2 lanes in each direction, driving the bridge is a lot less scary than it used to be. The bridge tunnel is maintained well, and the view at sunset is really nice! more

Great Views from the Brige Tunnel 8/20/2005

The chesapeake bay bridge tunnel provides great views while driving over it. It consists of a two lane bridge for each side with views of the naval base and beaches all around. Will lose radio and cell phone usage while traveling through the tunnel. Also it costs 10 dollars to use the tunnel. It is a little expensive but an easy way to drive to ocean city or delaware area. If you travel both ways in 24 hours, you will only have to pay about 7 dollars each way. more
