I recently stopped by a new store location they opened on 147th and dixie highway in harvey or dixmoor i think. Food was awesome. Seasoned fries were unbelievably good and hot.

Good fries! 1/12/2006

OH YEAH! They do have the best fries I've ever tasted. My boyfriend went here to get like 6 burgers...they are pretty juicy. You can get a softdrink and be on your way. I don't like that the place is small, and I don't like the outside seating arrangements. In the summer it's packed! Expect to pay like $2-$8 more

Checkers 8/15/2005

Checkers meals are ok but, Checkers has the best fries in Chicago. You have to eat outside under an umbrella which isn't good if there is bad weather. Another problem would be the service since not many people work there. Besides those to problems Checkers gets a 6/10 more
