Within 15 minutes of my leaving Charlotte Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat I found out that I could get quality glasses that looked nice for $450.00 less than what I had paid for them. I contacted the store less than 30 minutes after I had left and tried to cancel my order. I was told that my order had been placed and I could not cancel this order. Furthermore, I was told that I had signed a statement on my receipt agreeing that I understood I would not be able to make changes. This infuriated me because after my appointment my eyes were dialated, and I was unable to read the print on the receipt. I had been of the understanding that what I was signing was related to taking responsability for the portion of my eye glasses that insurance does not cover. When you go to a doctor the expectation is for high quality, ethical service, you do not expect to be taken advantage of. I felt duped- I hope this helps other be more cautious as the sales persons are very good at making the customer comfortable and at ease, as they encourage you to sign on the bottom line.
Pros: The doctors and nurses were great.
Cons: Sales staff at the Optical Store are selling, their priority is the sale not the patient.
