Seattle Party Supply Emporium 3/7/2006

I woke up Sunday morning wondering: Where does a girl go when she needs popcorn bags on short notice? The answer came quickly: Champion Party Supply. This party emporium, located at the base of Queen Anne Hill, has it all! Not only do they stock every item you might ever need to throw a party of any conceivable theme ranging from a St. Patrick's Day Bash to a Playboy Pajama Party, they rent elaborate costumes (something to keep in mind for Halloween). I like checking in with Champions in my party ideation phase. Walking up and down the colorful aisles you will be inspired with lots of ideas. This is a must for any "hostess with the most-est." more

A very fun Costume store 12/10/2005

this place is such a fun place to go to. There are so many different feels in this one place. I would totally recomend this place during the holloween season. They have the most outrageous things here that you only wish to see in movies. You can find the scariest costume to scare the living candy out of your neighbors and stuff them in your bag for safe keeping! more

Shines during Halloween 12/10/2005

This party store is great for Halloween for the costumes and scary things. They had a hanging body bag that wiggles every now and then, a good addition to your closet to scare someone. However, prices are expensive, but the quality of the scare might be worth it. During other times of the year, they mostly just carry decorations, but I do not see how they are still in business in summer months. more

Pricey Party/Costume Supply 10/4/2005

Located pretty close to the Seattle Center, this place has some really cool stuff for the party you are attending or throwing. They have alot of stuff but unfortunately it is WAY overpriced. I saw a punchbowl there that was the exact same one they were selling at Safeway, yet Champions was selling it for 4 times the price! I have gone there looking for a costume before but turned away quickly when I saw the prices. For the very minimal costume I was looking at over $100. They do also rent some pretty elaborate costumes but I didnt stick around long enough to find out how much those were! more

The place to come in Seattle for all your party needs 8/20/2005

Unless you want to venture out to the burbs and the stripmalls, this is the place to come in Seattle for all your party needs. They have a huge selection of items for whatever theme or holiday you are planning for (ex. Hawaiian, New Year's, over the hill, etc.), tons of balloons, party plates and napkins and costumes. It's a good place to get stocking gifts too. more

Extensive Range of Party Supplies 8/19/2005

I went to Champion looking for good quality face paints for my daughters. At first I felt lost in the store, there was so much there. The staff seemed hesitant to help me at first, but once I finally got someone behind the counter to pay attention to me and answer questions she was actually very helpful and willing to show me anything I wanted to see. The one thing I learned is that, if you want a certain item, you might as well just ask for it up front and save yourself a half hour of searching futilely for it yourself. They probably have whatever it is you need. more

good customs without a drive 8/16/2005

Although not as large, cheap, or helpfully staffed as the Display and Costume Supply store in Northgate, Champion Party Supply is close, and if you're based in downtown, doesn't require a drive. Also, Champion's tends to deal more in the pop-culture and ready made costume. If that's your thing, then it's hard to go wrong with a trip here. more

parties 8/11/2005

If you are going to be throwing a party - stop here FIRST! If you don't have any ideas, just by walking through this store - you will come up with some! They have everything you can think of and more. Lots of great party themes and everything you need to create the perfect party atmosphere. Very reasonable prices and helpful employees! more
