I had paid a deposit to rent audio equipment for my wedding from this company. I then had to cancel my order. I canceled my order five days prior to the event. I eventually had to talk to the manager since apparently he was the only one that seem to be authorize to do anything. The first words that he said were ""I told you people once, twice and the third, there are no refunds."" I tried to get more information about their refund policy but he seemed eager to brush us off. I read to him the contract which stated ""There are no refunds if you return the property before the end of the term."" I ask him since I did not service any property would I be able to get a refund. I also read to him there termination policy which said, ""You may voluntarily terminate this lease at the end of any term with no penalty."" The manager then said ""I know you all are young and you don't understand,"" there are no refunds. I am 23 years old and an engineering honor student if I didn't understand what he was saying, who would. My girlfriend who is with is 21 years old and a nursing student was with me at this time and felt offended by his remarks. He talked to me and girlfriend as if were incompetent and insisted that there was no way for us the get our money back for the property that we didn't receive.The fact is there refund policy did not state, no refund if the order was canceled; it only stated no refund will be issued if the property had already been delivered. I think its unfair that this company will not refund me any or all the money I had paid for this property which I did not receive. This company needs to work on there customer skills, to strive on helping there customers rather than insulting them.
