Bait and Switch. 7/20/2014

This place is a sham. After calling about a particular car I saw on their site and making sure they had it and letting them know that I was driving three hours to come get it I arrived only to suffer two hours of complete hell. The car was listed on line at $21,140. They had a car with the exact same features without a $75 dollar decal and a different color for $19,150. I started by indicating that I believed cars with equal options should be closely priced. Ultimately it didn't matter because although the dealer price on line was $21,140, the dealer price on the lot was $26,500+ dollars. You probably are wondering how they could justify a 25% difference in price. Well honestly they can't but oh how they tried. They started by saying that the online price already assumed that you qualified for a $400 Military Veteran Discount, A $400 rebate for having graduated college within the last 2 years and that you are financing with KIA which gives you a $1000 rebate. So they assume very specific rebates in determining a dealer price for the internet. Fair enough I didn't qualify for those and their was a disclaimer saying rebates required qualification. So you would think now we are at $21,140 +$1,800 or $22,940, but oh how wrong you would be. They also tack on dealer "treatments" including pin striping you can barely see on the car and different coatings and things they do to every car adding $1,899 dollars. You would think if you are a car dealer that always adds $1,899 to every car you would reflect that in your online pricing. So $22,940 + $1,899 would be $24,839 right. So where did the other $1,700.00 come from . Well frankly they never could answer this. And when I called them our on the shitty bait and switch practices they didn't deny it, they said (and in fact this is an exact quote) "The market is competitive, if we put the actual prices online we would never get people in the door." So I drove three hours for a car I didn't get. I recommend you avoid this dealership like the syphilitic plague more

Very Helpful 8/25/2005

I went here to start my research on what economy car I would like to purchase. I started here because of the warranty offered with the Kia car. The sales people were very helpful in answering my questions with out being overly pushy about the sale. I got a lot of great comparison research done, and will return to purchase the car. more
