Upon entering Celtic Weavers, you feel at home. It's a drastic change amongst the Faneuil Hall's big-name companies and vendor carts.
I love looking through the shelves of sweaters and racks of wool cloaks lining the store's walls. This reminds me of my Grandmother's living room as a child. You can find an assortment of anything Irish from from thick, warm hand-knit fisherman sweaters to Mohair wool blankets. Hanna Hats (handmade in Donegal) keeps my husband looking quite dapper. I love the Donegal Design scarves. Last time I was there, there was a cuddly wool teddy bear hand-stitched in Ireland. They also carry the traditional (and variations of) claddagh rings, perfume and soap, Irish ballad books, tin whistles, Celtic pendants, shamrock earrings, Barry's Tea, Celtic bookmarks, rosary beads handmade in Ireland and CDs of Irish music/bands. I'm sure there's more but that's what I can best remember. Try a visit and go back to Ireland!
