Celebrity Car Wash

Disaster! Not surprised by the litany of woe and bad reviews for this place. Avoid at all costs. They tried to return my car to me w/o mentioning that windows had lowered and allowed water/wax/soap into interior of car. 1/4 "" of water in the cup holders, wet carpet, stained upholstery...the whole catastrophe. Believe me, i am not the guy to leave the windows down at the car wash. Rather than make a scene at the register in front of the many customers that were there, I discreetly sought out the Mgr. and quietly informed him of the problem. As I tried to point out all the areas that were affected he became abusive, belligerent, irrational and refused to accept that some areas were wet, implying that i was trying to pull a swift one. He did get a worker to run a vacuum over some of the sodden areas, but it was still a mess. ( I use the vehicle as a limo and could not work for the next two days.) Stunned by the Mgr's behavior, I approached the owner. He conceded that it was wrong to return my keys w/o telling me what had happened....and that was it. No apology, no explanation, no offer of a free wash/detail in compensation. Terrible experience at Celebrity Car Wash. more

Happy Anyone who complains about this car wash clearly has not been to enough car washes in around here. This place is definitely one of my favorites....I would not give them 5 stars otherwise. Always make my car look brand new. more

This place does a good job of washing drying your car. They usually don't leave wet spots that lead to streaking like a lot of places do. The only thing that bothers me about them is that when they sell you a ""wash and wax"" service, they sometimes don't include the wax, especially on days when they offer the $8.99 wash/wax specials. i just came back from the worse car wash scam ever!!! first of all, they tried to sell me additional service which is already included in the wash package i asked for. less than 10 min later for a luxury wash with wax, i asked if they had forgotten to apply the wax, and the guy told me that it was done during the wash. who are you kidding?? how can you apply wax while the car is going through the wash?? after that he pretended he doesn't understand what i was saying. really not cool!! don't go there, this dishonest place should be shut down! Never again. I work less than half a block from them but wouldn?t waste another minute there. I?ve driven for 30+ years. Worked in car washes for several summers in my younger years but never have I seen worse. Carpets were unsatisfactory, sales rep was unclear and tried to over charge me, windows were not cleaned properly and the cashier (although said she could) spoke no English. Never again! this place is great the prices are phenomenal and the service is excellent, definitely one of the best car washes in Los Angeles. They get the job done and quick, my car looks great for weeks.
